The little pup sure is yappy! Gets pretty quiet when he's right there next to Hunter in the pressers though haha
He can be a proud American that's all good and I get what he's doing but if you think he's not trying to get the crowd more on his side and against Hunter ya not paying attention.. I do find it a bit cringey though when you 'lucked' into the red plate lost it in a week and then sure he had a great ride but he's all billy bad ass again.. I dunno let's see how he goes next round
As a Canadian I agree with your statement .
I guess it’s so cringe that it just feels like 3 🤷♂️. 1 is too many. From any country.
Anyone know how that kid that tried to claim Haiden's bike is doing now? I remember him being positive that the only reason Haiden was winning was that he had a cheater bike. Where is that kid now? In Steve's DMs?

Deegan has more wins in his first 10 races than Hunter did in his first 41, and more than Jett had in his first 13. But yeah, real lucky.
Not sure where you're coming from saying Haiden was quiet in the press conference. Maybe you didn't watch the one from Washougal?
'MERICA!!
Kinda off topic, but to piggyback off the social media importance thing, Brian said in their latest video, that every kid is buying yz85’s now because of Hudson, that’s all he sees at the track.
I wonder who sells more bikes, Honda because of Jett or Yamaha because of Haiden?
I’m a huge deegan fan and even I can tell you with certainty the kid never said that.
This is why I don’t listen to Pulp. Steve is a soy boy beta cuck. Don’t know how people tune in to his show.
That's just uncalled for. Your account has been suspended, email me in a few weeks when you think you've mellowed out.
I watched you type this in real time lol
That is amazing... I had a reply queued up and decided it wasn't even worth my time.
I can tell you that at 2 different tracks this weekend the mini practices were 90% Austrian bikes. I saw 2 YZ85, 2 KX85, 1 RM85. Almost nobody is buying YZ85s to race seriously.
Funny you’re getting downvoted for this. The story the entire time was he wanted to make a YouTube video about it. I can’t recall a single time the kid said Deegen was only winning because of that bike.
Yep impressive stats for sure.. and yes he may be having a better rookie year than they had but Hunter was dominating this season so much so he had two DNFs and was still only a few points off the red plate.. I put the lucked in inverted commas cause I understand Haiden was in the position to take advantage but still.. I dunno if I'd be clucking about it but that's me I guess!
I did watch the Washougal presser and I didn't see him keep up with the 'must be stressful for Hunter too cause he's supposed to be winning these things' approach he was trying on the podium in front of all the cameras and fans.. I'm all for it but if ya goin for that angle keep that energy otherwise (IMO) it looks cringey.. I'm not saying he needs to get in his face or anything but if ya gonna play the cool badass in front of everyone
Lot's of cool Canadians out there.
Yes, there are very cool Canucks out there. I used to spend summers in BC and had a blast with the people there,............except when it came to Hockey talk and then they could get downright fist fighting mean with their favorite teams.
Or maybe it could be they are just proud of their heritage & country without all of the bullshit angles you seem to imply.
Pit Row
I’m about halfway through the show, ML and the second caller on the subject were up for an honest debate and it seems like Steve just didn’t wanna hear it.
I just think it’s weird to immigrate to the United States of America to chase the American dream and then get bothered when USA born citizens are proud and representative of their country. If Steve would’ve stayed in Canada his whole life I highly doubt PulpMX would be anywhere near the size it is, nonetheless if we ever would’ve heard of Steve Matthes in the first place.
Wait until this guys finds out there's a race in the fall where each country chooses riders to represent them on the track
Personal attacks like this are uncalled for. I get it, Steve had an unpopular opinion in this case. I was literally sitting across from him debating the opposite side of it, but that’s just it…it’s a debate or conversation about differing opinion. Not a personal attack fest.
There’s a difference between people that are patriotic and people who sell patriotism. Seems Brian knows his audience.
I'm somewhere between that I see both sides of the argument and that I simply don't care. I was just going to call out TheDennisSystem for their bullshit, then decided it's not worth getting into it with someone who says shit like "soy boy beta cuck".
I am a proud American. Part of that is showing respect for the people who love America even though they were not born here, and choose to immigrate here legally and contribute to our society, like the Lawrence family has. By Deegan saying what he said, in an American series with mostly American riders, shows disrespect for the foreign riders, who had the balls to come race in the best country in the world.
Again, this is not the Olympics or an international series like MXGP. It makes sense to focus on the country of origin there. This is an American series, it’s not about what country each rider is from, it’s almost all American riders. So to play up that aspect when your main competitor is one of the few foreigners is just kinda lame.
So, you are labeling all people that were born in California bad because of the policies of the people who currently run state government?
Saying you are a "Proud American" isn't really accurate then is it?
Deegans lived in my part of Temecula for a lot of years before they decided to move, in fact they still own their home here, they have never sold it.
Judging people by where they live is Xenophobic.
Honestly, I don't get where you see him trashing anyone born in CA.
I wasn't born here, but lived here most all my life. There is no better place to live than California for what it offers IMO. On the flip side, it's in the running for worst place to live due to it's insane polices and the criminals running it. I'm not "proud" of our state for the latter.
It’s sad that liberals don’t love America.
