Does anyone have a sure fire way to contact Pro Taper? I’ve called them several times, left voicemails, and emailed them and cannot get a reply of any sort.
For those that are wondering what my question is, I’m trying to find which one of their Twister throttle tubes fits a 2024 KTM 125SX, if any at all. I’ve done as much digging as possible and haven’t found an answer. The one from my ‘18 150SX won’t work because that was a single cable tube, and the ones from my ‘24 350 SXF and ‘21 450 SXF won’t work either. While those are both dual cables, the ends of the cables are in a different place than the ones on the 125.
Good luck, there may be some info in this thread that is helpful.

Ouch.
Call.works connection. Save the drama
The works connection one is great, but it only comes with 4-stroke cams so you have to run the ODI cam to suit your bike. In this case, as it’s a KTM, it’ll be the stock one I imagine.

They don’t list one for the 23/24 two stroke SX bikes. I’ve looked.
They don’t offer one that I’ve been able to find.
The two stroke cam and four stroke cam are not the same. To elaborate, the spots that the cable ends go aren’t the same. I’ve already compared them side by side. Could the cables be adjusted? I don’t know that answer. With the 125 being FI now, I’d rather not tinker with something that may mess it up.

You’re giving me the impression the stock ODI can will snap into place on the WC one. Is this a for sure thing or are we guessing? I figured each company would have their own unique pattern.
Good luck. Pro Taper has fallen steeply downhill. Even if you get rider support discounts it's not even worth it bc the website is out of stock of every single product they make. Rear sprocket I need has been out of stock since 2022 lmao. Email them, you get no response. Ever since they changed their website layout like 6 months ago, it is completely unusable as well. The old website was actually good, this one is fucking awful, I can't believe a well known brand in moto like this can have such a piss poor representation for their brand and simply not care at all.
I had heard a few months ago that Tucker was trying to sell the Pro Taper brand and WPS and Parts Unlimited were both trying to buy it. Not sure if that has changed or not. But it could explain why they are hard to get ahold of and do not have a lot of stock.Tucker seems to be going all in on Electric vehicles and not as involved in moto. They still do not have a 2023 Offroad catalog on their website.
I have the G2 on my 23 TX300 and the stock cam snapped right onto it. I’ll check with them to see if the 125 also works.
Call G2 super friendly dudes and excellent customer service. Had one on my TX300. Added the jimmy twister also.
MAG owns them. According to Paul P they have been circling the drain for years now.
MAG owns Tucker too though right? I had heard whoever owns them , they were looking to sell the brand and that PU and WPS were 2 of the companies trying to purchase them.
They might I’m not sure. I like there bars. Too bad they can’t keep up on the CS side of things.
I just double checked and Mag owns Tucker. A few months ago I was told to expect Pro Taper to be bought by somebody in the next 6 months and that it would likely be PU or WPS.. Who knows if that has changed or not. At one point MAG also Owned Renthal USA too. When Mag went bankrupt or around then, they sold it back to the Co founder of Renthal. I also hope they get whatever issues resolved and get product back in stock. Sucks to see a brand that invented a style of handlebar , and has some great products , having issues.

Websites can be strange sometimes and not update for some people if they are viewing on a different type of device or browser , etc. It could explain why somebody else was able to see a listing and You were not. Sometimes the old version of a site will load so it loads faster and you will have to restart Your browser or device and or delete the cookies and other temporary files.
I went to the works connection site and I get the same result. Showing that part # and it being backordered. https://www.worksconnection.com/p52075-throttle-tube-elite
Stock ODI cam fits on my WC Elite throttle tube; 2019 KTM 150SX fitment. Same pattern and no hassles. Should be good to go on new bikes as well...
Correct mate, the 2 and 4 stroke cams are completely different and not interchangeable.
I’m wanting to run a works connection throttle tube on a 2-stroke myself and I reached out to WC to see if the ODI cams are a direct fit and they confirmed they are. I’ve physically tried it myself and it’s a sure thing.
Don't use shop by brand. Go through products and select the elite tt.
Also its the same PN for almost every recent KTM bike.
