I love how the family was all there to support him and be there for his first win. It might be more common than I think. But its still cool to see. Might just be more noticeable since his sister ,dad and brother have a higher profile than most other racers family.  Still cool to see it with them. I was happy for him. That's gotta be one of the coolest rounds to win. Bummer Hunter was not in the moto. And I hope Hunter is really OK and is able to get back racing this weekend.

"Congrats for not even being the second best guy and winning the race. That's real talent..."

Some would call that trolling.....55 downvotes and counting...

My post was a play on the title of the tread. Get over it. Try some respect if you want some. You and the same group of posters are constantly outing other member justified or not.

Respect? for what? all you do is troll on here....if you can't handle the replies that your trolling gets then there is little hope for you....

All I did is ask a couple questions.

I'll ask again, what are you gonna do about?

Let me guess.....just continue to run your mouth like a typical New Yorker?

Ohhhhhh you got me so good!

How will I ever recover?

No need to respond, I'll catch you in the next Deegan thread that you won't be able to avoid running your mouth in.

Um on Vital? No I don't really see that many haters! I mean there's one guy in this thread that's trying pretty hard to discredit his win with semantics which is hateful sure but I haven't seen anyone openly admit they don't want him to win or that they openly 'root' against him (like some have said about some other riders).. I'll admit though that I was definitely a fan of his from what I saw in the amateurs and from the few vlogs I watched but I'm starting to lose that with some of his actions.. Like in the Vital interview where it seems he's saying Hunter should've got up and toughed out the moto cause you've gotta be tough in this sport, which is a bit of a fuckwit thing to say about an older guy that's had a lot of injuries AND is dominating the series, like I'm pretty sure he's tough enough champ.. I'll believe it if he says that's not what he meant buuuut yeah nah get fucked

Haiden said that? Oof. Brian needs to do some more coaching on not saying everything in your head when I mic is in your face

Well to even think it is pretty silly haha but he is 17.. Like I said I'll believe it if he says he just misspoke but it does sound like he's saying Hunter should've continued and when you think about how each of them got to where they are I'm not sure Haiden can tell Hunter to toughen up..

Question starts at about 3 mins

https://www.vitalmx.com/videos/features/haiden-deegan-2023-redbud-vital-mx-interview

Mmmm we'll see how tough he is when takes a big hit next time.... Holy shit can you imagine the shit storm if Jett said Tomac wasn't tough and needed to push through it.... he wouldn't know what doing it tough is compared to what Jett and Hunter have had to go through to get to where they are now

I agree it’s great to see him winning but would say it’s not great for the his career.  He’s is what 17?  What if he wins championships early, will that mean he will ‘point out’ of 250’s?  If so he would then be in 450’s for potentially 10 years - a bit like Jet is going to be.

And that’s only if they don’t get burned out.

Your a fool to think like that!!

I mean is Haidan Deegan really going to be our 250 rider for MX of nations?  Why does he seem like one of the more in control riders out there -  and hes a rookie.  Its beyong impressive at this point.  I feel like we are starting to assume already its where he belongs...I really think hes already beat his season hype right?  ive been very impressed, even with the few rookie moves on his teammates in SX, or i think we had one outdoors too with looking back, but even him and Christian Craig talked about it on most recent podcast.

Its good hes Very aware of it, means it should stop pretty soon!

My son and I were talking about the same thing the other day.  Honestly, who else would we pick at this point as the 250 rider?  RJ is just too inconsistent and his starts are not good.  With 32 not being an option, seems like Deegan is the most likely candidate at this point even with minimal pro experience.  Deegan gets good starts and is fast enough to log a pretty good finish.

I agree man, if Cooper is busy getting married it's basically Deegan or RJ isn't it.

RJ is a ragger, which is awesome to watch and he goes hard every minute he's on the track which is admirable, but everyone knows he's gonna end up on the deck, unfortunately.

Generally speaking Deegan seems good at rising to the occasion.
