Post up your rare gems you found down the Youtube rabbit hole. Here are some of mine:

This guy buys, modifies and repairs (often) a Chinese ATV with a Jeep-styled body on it, then tries to drive it 1,000 miles to Moab, Utah: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a8Bvy8wHD7g. (Several parts.) He's hilarious and the scenery is awesome.

A really well-done mini film about riding The Whole Enchilada. This video was largely responsible for inspiring me to go ride that route myself, and I'm planning to go up there again in October: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ana6az4zGvo

This guy comedically talks up military heroes, equipment, and tactics. The vids are essentially all the same, but his delivery cracks me up: https://www.youtube.com/@the_fat_electrician

I read about that.

Asked for the link because sometimes it works if I use the app.

It's not working this time, but thanks anyway.

Oh Hell yeah. I like the trainhopping and camping videos, too.

I like this guy. He posts up in illegal or "hidden in plain sight" camping spots: https://www.youtube.com/@campingwithsteve

Pretty incredible, but doesn't it kind of poop on the guys who did it without power tools?

Granted, I don't have the vision to see art, so I don't know what I'm talking about.

I watch camping with Steve all the time! It was so sad when his wife passed away.

Here are two more train hoppers I watch.

Can someone do one of those without power tools before dying of old age ? Laughing  I don't think it takes anything away from a "Hand tools only" guy, but I'm sure there's some purest people who do. I suppose it would be considered two different mediums ? To me either way they were able to visualize the thing in a chunk of wood and carve out everything else. That's the talent, get everything out of there that isn't part of the "Vision"  Is a guy that uses modern (better) tools to do it less of an artist ? I don't know but I bet the guy who does it with chisels files and sandpaper does lol

One for the car/fabrication enthusiasts

Bad Obsession Motorsport

https://www.youtube.com/@BadObsessionMotorsport/featured

They take a classic Austin Mini and turn it into a 4WD drive monster by fabricating in a Toyota Toyota Celica ST185 GT4 engine. An obscene amount of work by 2 nutty Brits

Very cool thread idea Falcon!

Absolutely LOVE this gal.

She's a vocal coach....she breaks down popular songs into the "technical" stuff.   She's a blast to watch...her expressions are incredible.

Lots of other "big hits" that she breaks down.     I bought a pair of those headphones she recommends for a whole new listening experience.

I love woodworking videos, so I'll have to check that guy out.

One of my go-to's is the Dusty Lumber Company. The joints this guy makes are insane:

The kid honestly does an amazing job of breaking down and trying to explain how to visualize the “structure”.

Not really anything learn per se - but with sound added and footage cleaned up, it just makes the whole thing feel all the more real and visceral. Incredible what they went through - some of those guys are so young too.
