..as well as break records including biggest November opening weekend, biggest holiday opening weekend, and is officially the fastest film to cross the $100 million mark.

And there are apparently some mx bike/riding scenes in the film.

Anybody brave the teenyboppers and shirtless Hispanic guys pretending to be Indians to see what brand got the exposure?

Girls tattoo themselves with dialogue from these books/movies, the soundtracks sell out on Itunes before the film is even released and they go out of their way to replicate whatever clothing the model/actors wear in every scene.

If you really think mx bikes playing a part in the film have zero effect on anything, then you're a piss-poor business man in addition to being the sort of close-minded individual who saddles this sport with the undeserved write-off of "Nascar light".

Volvo is using Twilight fanaticism to promote their automobiles and there is a glimpse of a bike in the advertisement:

I care obviously or else I wouldn't have asked.

You've repeatedly expressed your discontent, now go bless some other topics with your diamond wit and fascinating insight while I await an answer.

HAHAHHAHAHHAHHAAHA!!!!!! That really got me laughing out loud! I do wish it had ended that way, good stuff.

My sister came to visit this weekend and spent Friday night in LA to go to the premeir she said it was madness people were driving all over SOcal trying to find a place not sold out. I don't understand it and dont care to it actually annoys me.

Am I going to be the first to admit I saw it?

Took the wife and daughter over the weekend. It's a decent movie... and series. I like it.

Daughter has read the books 2 or 3 times each... wife ended up reading them too. I didn't read the books, not going to go that far... but I did grill them quite a bit after the movie on what happened in the books after this movie.

Bike riding scene is dumb, 5 minutes... and I couldn't tell what kind of bikes they were. Looked kind of like a XT Yamaha... but to new (after they were fixed up by Jacob and the chick (forget her name). Maybe a European brand bike, definately a street/enduro 4 stroke. Really looked like a Yamaha swingarm, mid 80's aluminum boxed. But The bikes were "being fixed up" when they showed them.. they may not have been on the running bike.

And It's funny you mentioned this, because I was trying to figure out what they were, LOL

I admit that I'm going to go see it on Wednesday. I liked the books but the first movie sucked, so my expectations for this one are pretty low. From what I've seen, the bike scene looks pretty lame.

Alright, I'll admit it...I saw it today with my wife and daughter. Not as good as the first one, not as good as the book. Oh yeah, the bike scene was short and I have no idea what they were except 4 stroke dual sport types.

Girlfriend made me see it. I'd say yamaha's with sweet aftermarket seats (joke for those who saw it). Bikes had cheesy dubbed in 4 stroke sounds. Even the chopper harley biker guy she hopped on the back of the bike with.

Thank you. I knew that there were posters here who would have children who wanted to see this.

Scenes in the commercial looked like a pair of handlebars attached to a flatbed.

It is a great movie. Since the Sooners suck this year, I have to do something!! Actually, my youngest, Jaxon, and I are huge football fans, but Trey liked it too (he went the second time). Good, good story.

Not in to "Twilight" at our house.
