Not to take away from his accomplishments, kid is rippin’ forsure. One has to wonder though if his bike being claimed at LL last year got him to move up a little early. I just remember his pops saying they were gonna take it slow and rack up as many amateur titles as they could before moving up. Then the bike got claimed and he’s on gate with the pros 2 weeks later.

This video is nothing like what he was doing on Saturday. He clearly lost drive when his rear end skipped coming out of that turn. He was looking back to see where the other rider was and hoping to avoid a collision. 
 

his moves on Saturday were kind of chicken shit.  He just needs to be humbled a bit.

yep. i generally don't have a problem with Friese. he doesn't run his mouth and doesn't whine when he gets it back. and i sincerely don't think he cross-jumps this blatantly (there have been some over the line for sure).  but PEOPLE HATE FRIESE. 

meanwhile deegan is exciting and we're pussies or something if we think he rides like a jabroni. K.

It's only a double standard if it's the same guy. I think most people are fine with racing hard, we all love it. It's the games he played with Jordan Smith. It's the racing backwards and not forwards. If he was passing Hunter and stuffed him in the turn for the win, I think most would say fair game.
