Cool to see him doing these small events and interact with Dutch fans in a fun way. Most of them don’t really have many chances to see him ride

Fuck me. Seeing him demolish a small track like that great to watch. It's awesome that he's doing these smaller events.

Dear USA moto brothers: This level of track prep is the norm in 99.9% of the world. YOU are the anomaly with your ultra-groomed birthday cake esk tracks.

In the 4 stroke era it's sorta rare to see a really fast rider actually look like he's going really fast! But he really looked like he was going fucken fast haha

Marvin would beat him by 2 seconds a lap in that event.  Let's see him come race the US Red Bull Straight Rhythm then we can talk.

Can we just for once stop these constant comparing of USA vs Europe? Seriously this forum is getting ridiculous the past few weeks. Today I read 10 topics and all of them were the same clueless boring discussions about. Europe vs USA. Can’t we just enjoy these riders anymore? It’s insane how negative some people are on other riders, from both sides. This starts to look like soccer fans sometimes Laughing

This track looks like something in someones backyard. No disrespect intended but a pretty outlandish statement. I'd wager Texas has more MX tracks than all the UK combined. The USA is where the money is and we Americans would welcome him. Now would be the time.

Oh shut up. Did you type that horse shit looking for praise or a thumbs up from a few non Americans? No ama outdoor tracks are smooth. Even the tracks that would be considered as "easy" are fast as F, which makes it rough and demanding.  Many are rough as f AND high speed. Then, there's sx tracks with whoops that Herlings himself said he wants no part of.

It's cool to give Herlings and other non Americans their props for what they do and how good they are, but unnecessarily shitting on American mx with b.s. like that is cheesy. Especially when an American does it.

This is why I've never understood why Herlings never wanted to come over and race the Monster Energy Cup. I can understand him not trying an ama supercross event due to not having sx experience, but the Monster Energy Cup tracks were just high speed tracks with jumps and other common stuff that no one had ever ridden prior. It always seemed to me that Herlings would have been lethal on an MEC track and have a legit shot at that million dollar prize, or an overall win and 100 grand.

Maybe he wanted to and KTM said no. I can see that being the case.

Relax Chuck. I was simply meaning to point out how its rough round the edges, still has turf and doesn't even look like the upramps are the same angle - but thats how it is in most of the world except the greatest mother fucking nation on earth! #U.S.A  #U.S.A  #U.S.A

I see all kinds of different ramp angles and many different size jumps on ama outdoor tracks. I also see lots of deep ruts and rough shit on them by the time they drop the gate.

Those "ultra groomed birthday cake" tracks with identical ramp angles on every jump, are actually not that. You imply that they are and that "99.9" percent of non ama tracks aren't that. Now you're implying that I'm an extreme nationalist for disagreeing with your horse shit. I'm guessing you consider my reply as "hate speech" since it doesn't jive with your narrative. Please don't cancel me.

I didn't mean to imply that USA tracks are easy, or not rough. I was simply commenting on how well groomed everything is in the USA - vs this track that clearly hasn't been groomed since the last event a year ago. No where did I mention "AMA tracks".

You're right. Remember the SMX Cup in 2016? Kind of a manufacturer's hybrid event in Germany. Although Dungey won the overall Herlings speed was on another planet.
