I guess it's good to see them doing something about illegal use on the streets, and if they can root out some stolen bikes and thieves while they're at it, so much the better.

I demand the rightful owners be located and given reparations.

I'm sure that one of his family members or buddies has the contract to take the good stuff and "recycle" it.  

The crushing of the bikes is nothing but a publicity stunt to make the old lady on on 131st street feel "safe".  Until the punishment becomes felony reckless driving and these criminals end up in jail they will likely just steal another bike.

take a look at the article. These weren't "Wheelie Boys" Bikes. They were Coleman Tote Goats, and what appeared to be some Chinese 230cc style stuff. 

So I wonder if the police are inspecting vins for theft matches before destroying them? Seems to me the police in most cities do not give a shit about stolen property because you can go on Youtube and watch the ghetto pos riding around on stolen bikes & atvs with no concerns about being arrested. Maybe we should save the machines and get rid of the lowlife scumbags that continuously break our laws and things would actually change.

Did I say wheelie boys?  I said criminals and if the bikes (likely stolen) were being used to run around terrorizing the streets it's the same thing regardless of where they were made

Exactly!! What does it matter what brand or from what origin the bikes are?? I know there are the pc police in here that will get out their "racist daggers" and claim there is no proof that the "wheelie boys" or other urban rider gangs are not the cause of the illegal street riding in masses but let's just look at physical proof and then reevaluate the situations. 

Here in NC we now have a huge problem with bikes getting stolen at races with the owners sleeping right there while their motorcycles were taken. There is footage from local stores with the people responsible for taking these bikes. Sadly, as of now I know of no arrest of these pos.
