How does a rider and mechanic get smoked by a truck in pits and apparently broken off.

I’ve seen it happen at my local lick skillet raceway but it was always a D rider mad he got lapped and going wfo thru pits

How does a rider and mechanic get smoked by a truck in pits and apparently broken off.

I’ve seen it happen at my local lick skillet raceway but it was always a D rider mad he got lapped and going wfo thru pits

It happened right behind us as we came off the track- Austin’s mechanic’s leg was pretty bad, compound fracture I was told. I was talking to him on the line just before the start of the practice session, good dude.

F-150 Raptor came around the blind corner by the rockstar rig just as Black was returning to the privateer pits with his mech on the back of the bike- we had to dodge a golf cart coming down the pit area also.

ive been at the track for the last two days so I dont know how much has been reported about this, Wi-Fi is spotty here so I can’t watch the video.

He is here

his bike is under the KTM awning

he rode media day

Yeah I saw him in the videos. Glad he is feeling better. Was hoping it wasn’t some weird riding media day but not ready to race situation.
