also weren’t they on the fence about whether he would come into the pro ranks so soon? maybe he’s younger than the usual entry into the 250 pro class. I mean he went straight from the amateur SX events, right into professional racing with no wait between. all things considered, this may be why, in addition to the hype around his amateur career, that it’s been as exciting as it’s been. he’s proving to back up the hype in just the first few races and that’s pretty remarkable.

something about his riding style really rubs me the wrong way. can't put my finger on it, but watching hunter pass him in the whoops and the difference in their posture was illustrative.  @4:36 to go in the Main. deegs actually looks over at him...

Yes, me too. 
he’s super aggressive on the RPMs and throttle, I think it was Daytona and he was coming over the ‘wall’ and ‘chicken-winging’ it big style.
