Who expected KR94 to have been one of the few top guys to finish 2023SX?

Pretty crazy that of all the things that have happened in SX this year with top 10 guys and injuries that Kickstart Kenny would be one of the few guys still standing.  Props to AC9 for his podium as well.  Especially when you look at number of starts in 450SX for Barcia, Tomac, Webb, Anderson.  

I know there are a few on here who like to bag on K-Roc, but he deserves credit for staying healthy and continuing to improve on a bike that is at a disadvantage compared to others in some ways.

I'll tell you right now that I expected Kenny to tell HEP the bike sucked and he quit. 

 

That being said, I'm glad he didn't. I feel he surpassed the expectations of everybody, maybe even his own self. I'm bummed he isn't racing motocross, but I am happy he's doing well, is healthy, and is doing what he wants to do.

I have been wanting KR to do well for soooo long. I really thought I'm just living a pipe dream.

Have to confess that I did not think he would do as well as he did. I am so stoked! His journey

has gone from the highest highs to the lowest lows and back up again. Mad props Kenny!!!

It’s been absolutely amazing to see what Ken has accomplished this year, especially on a bike that so many people counted out. With all of his injuries and health issues over the past few years, this season becomes even more impressive!! Can’t wait to see what he’ll be able to do next year if he stays with HEP and has a whole season with the bike/team under his belt! 👍
