The Republicans need to ask better questions like "what is the number that you use
to define how many people crossing illegally into our country where you would define
the boarder as insecure" You have to make it a quantifiable number so that they are on the record.
Otherwise they will never come outright and say the border is insecure, they don't have to. And if
asked about it later, they can just say we think it's secure against too much chewing gum coming into the country.
The question is/was never defined, it's just too ambiguous. Therefore the answer is irrelevant.
Not to mention the dumping of prison popolations into the migrant stream along with a surplus of military aged Chinese men.
If you don't live near the border, you really can't fathom the situation. We deal with constant danger from this out of control situation. People are hurt or killed regularly due to all the BS surrounding human and drug smuggling. The cartels are absolutely loving this situation. They are getting stupid rich off exploiting this administration's policies.
