Thank you for shedding some light and sharing my experience on vitalmx! The moto community has good people in it still and hopefully they can be warned. Keep your eye out on my FB page for further updates! More information dropping this week!

No worries dude. I just saw how crazy it is and shared it a bunch to the people I know in the industry. I didn’t actually create the thread here. My thing is I don’t want others to fall into this same situation. I’ve been there in similar situations and it sucks. FCR is more blatant about it than anyone I’ve ever seen. Hopefully the traction your post is getting will help warn some others and hopefully you get your stuff back.

last I saw they want you to drive to Ohio to pick it up? I’m not sure what state you’re in , but that’s just as bananas as the rest of Justin’s responses.

If you don’t get it back or have any recourse to get your money back, maybe there’s someone local to them that you trust that can grab it and get it out of their hands for good.

Shocking that a business owner is holding a customer's suspension hostage and is then mocking him about it!   I replied in the FB thread and tagged 50 of my mx buddies here in Ohio so that they're aware of what kind of pizz poor service FCR in East Palestine is providing.

Now I'm in shock I thought I pointed out a lot. Now I've seen multiple assault charges and multiple lawsuits + repossessions articles.  Plus more and more people scammed and treated terribly over 100 at this point. Justin is doubling down and keeping the suspension and saying he has piles of stuff he's tripping over that needs shipped. This is sad and goes to show what a terrible business people can run and still stay in business+grow.

Holy crap, that fb post is a read! Man, the owners kid is making Varner look like customer service specialist. Hell.

On the Facebook post Justin says he is bringing  the suspension to this weekends race…. I would seriously love to be there for the interaction. I know everyone will be adults but I wouldn’t mind a little ass beating heading Justin’s way to remind him to be a decent human/businessman.

Doesn’t strike me as the ballsy type, but then again… doesn’t strike me as the brainy type either. Maybe he comes to tell us all off.

I found an actual photo of him right now considering it

Don’t count on it. People still send stuff to Varner.

My suggestion: if your bike's stuck in the garage while Lunatik's doing you suspension, this might be the right time to ship your engine to Varner.

I don't know, man. I remember the following from the Harris Performance Good/Bad Reviews.

Man, if you know your stuff, have integrity, and value customers, you'll succeed. This world is lacking customer service and Justin's antics on Facebook proves it's trickled into our sport.

Really, just be a good person and not a POS and you can literally make it.

If you're in Ohio, consider Travis at SRS suspension. The founder of srs was great and Travis has taken that same mentality and built on it. Providing a service (other than quality suspension) that is starting to become a lost art (customer service).

I saw this floating around on my FB timeline also. Pretty wild. I ran FCR a while back but it was through a local franchise owner, not the main owners that are in this situation. It was good, I loved the bike after the work. But the guy I used has since gone off to do his own thing and I still use him. It was for the better and after seeing this, it just solidifies that.

I think what @Meister said above is pretty spot on. If you can do solid work and be a good person, you can do well in this sport, especially locally. But stuff like this also gets around quickly and that's not good.

It's getting interesting, I guess the police are getting involved. I'm just glad they got me for only $600 and not the money plus my suspension. I keep seeing more and more people now that never even got their stuff back that already paid. I see some people that support them and say this is all this guys fault. It's hard to argue that he's a good guy with hundreds of complaints of people getting ripped off plus all the public information on them. It would be great to see this guy and his kid locked up and business shut down. That will never happen tho. It's hard to believe people can be that much scum to take people's hard earned money and sleep at night. I know that 600 to get my suspension done was a huge deal to me at the time and to think this guy just took it and did nothing.

Sadly, nothing with likely happen and he will continue to get business somehow.

I agree. If a person can be present and actually serve customers not just do work, success will be natural. Most people are not very attentive or present at all anymore.

I mean that too, I got the 1000 mile stare at chipotle the other day asking for black AND pinto beans. It was like I asked for an energy balance instead of lunch.

He has a "suspension seminar" for which he charges some decent money. On tt, someone attended, and still has many questions on basically what he should have been taught.

Dont even get me started on chipotle man! I literally love it, (yeah, im fat), but I can't stand going in any of my local joints anymore. Customer service is dead or they're out of main ingredients. One of the two, without fail.

We're so doomed.

I was young and dumb when I had them do my suspension.  Fresh out of Iraq and wanted a great bike,  I suck at riding, I'm probably another one that got scammed by them.  TAGMX does my stuff now and they give me back all the worn out parts.  I don't know why they don't all do that, it shows they did work.

The police can and will do nothing other than deliver a civil summons. The dirtballs have been going for decades and know how to play the scam game. Good luck recovering any damages. Sounds like he is untouchable at this point and his actions indicate such.

I do think they are feeling a bit of heat at the least.

More and more stories of people getting ripped off on the post.  Sabotaging someone's bike is just low. Screenshot 2023-04-27-17-25-30.png?VersionId=fsUmW9gCavCHziO3Hp1T2gmE.YGL

I don’t think this will go to trial. I think it’s just a letter from an attorney telling fcr to return the suspension or else they’ll take them to court. Letters like these usually scare a company enough to get them to comply.
