Bandimere Speedway closing, Thunder Valley??

Thunder valley sits between a freeway interchange and a state park (or city park, can’t remember). There’s probably low risk for encroachment from residential builders in the near future. Who knows what will happen later. 
 

bandimere is on the opposite side of a freeway from newly developed private land. 

Looking on Google maps, is it the new development Lennar at Red Rocks Ranch?  Across 470 from Bandimere?

If so, do you think it will eventually cross the highway to the current Bandimere spot?

I don't necessarily see that stretching all the way down to Thunder Valley, especially with Green Mountain in the way, but the noise could certainly be an issue in the future.

Bandimere is also a larger parcel of land at an interchange ripe for development, Whereas Thunder valley is sandwiched in there pretty hard.  Bandimere also does a lot more noise polluting at night vs. Thunder valley being daytime only facility, not to mention Top Fuel cars could wake the dead. 

Honestly the biggest problem to me is where can they possible rebuild out here that would be as convenient and accessible as Bandimere? Halfway to Kansas? Out off Pena Blvd maybe??

Bandimere is in Morrision and Lakewood MX track is in Lakewood and owned by the city even though they are less than a mile apart they are both on very desirable land. Claybaugh has a great deal/lease with the city of Lakewood and the city loves the tax revenue and are very involved with the MX track.  Bandimere tried to relocate back in the late 1990s and found a great location east of Watkins and south of DIA  and they were going to build a drag strip and a NASCAR track and other assorted tracks at what was going to be called World Park. Unfortunately the shit stains that owned Pikes Peak raceway which has been a failure because of a bad location and very little access is down south of Denver in Fountain and they paid a bunch of farmers and such out at the new location to fight the zoning the new world park would need and so it was voted down. Is the Lakewood Track safe ? maybe right now but money talks and lots of developers want that land also. Sad part is its almost impossible to open any kind of motor racing tracks now.

Yep, I loved that track and when they made the track go up the hill to the pits and come back down you had to jump off the top of the 4ft short track wall back onto the track you would see a lot of C riders go over the bars.  The other part I liked was the start that was a left onto the short track but if you started to the inside all you had to do was head for the wall and everyone on the outside would have to come to a stop or hit the wall and you could jet out to good lead. It was a dirty trick but when you control the line you go where you want  and they had open practice on Wednesday nights and it looked like a race there were so many riders.
