Will do what elevation are you at
I've used that jetting up to 4500ft and it runs great. Might need some minor tweaks going to 5,000ft or higher or if using pump gas.
Digger, Thanks for the input as well. Having the needle in clip 5 drops the needle down in the main jet leaning down that opening with works pretty decent. That is the reason going with CCM in 2nd clip, I have also had this needle in 4 and 5 position.
It seems the bike performs better in the 4 and 5 position. almost like the taper needs to change or a longer needle is required.
I also had a CCN Needle in there at one time which did not work well either. Hence why I think I will try the N3CK needle, might as well try a N1EE Needle as well.
I agree it seems the bike as performed better by riching it up via pilot and Needle.
Also I would say it don't seem like we fight this as bad at low elevation. At least my kid does not say anything as I don't typically ride it when we are at low elevation.
Zeb, It sounds to me, like you have it all backwards. How are you counting the jet clip positions ? Lowering the needle in clip positions into 4or 5 is richening the jetting in the 35% throttle position to 75% range. By using a longer needle, this will make the jetting leaner in that range. I'll give you an example, A CDL, the next longer needle in clip positions, is 8% leaner than the CCL. while the N3CK needle would be similar to a single taper BEQ needle, which is way, way leaner than the CCL or CCM needles. from what you are saying, I think you need to go the other way, which would put you into a DCL or M, which is a taper that is about 8% richer than the C taper (Cxx)

FGR01. Thanks for the picture. I am saying the right things. But my position of the needle was backwards.. My clip position 1 is actually clip position 5.
