1992 cr 250r exhaust

Hey everyone you've all been very helpful in the past for me and I'm hoping I can find some answers from you guys on this. I have a 92 cr250 and currently doin a restoration. Really want the works raw pipe look but good luck finding one. Question is. Would a pipe off a newer bike work on mine. Found a works pipe for an 01 for a steal of a deal and it just crossed my mind to wonder if it would work. Thanks everyone !

I know where I can get a new PC 03 works pipe. It should fit. Not sure what they are worth these days. No one makes them anymore?

So the 01 pipe won't work but the 03 will?

And no. The only ones you can find are German ones that I'm not a huge fan of the look and would cost me almost 700 bucks just for the head pipe. 😮‍💨😮‍💨

You could contact JSV exhaust, they have both cone and works raw pipes for the old Hondas.

JSV is a 600 euro cone pipe (if he had to make it for the first time), more for the looks then really a upgrade on power.

Dep and HGS are the same family, HGS would be around 350/400 euro.

The cone would give the best performence from Piet. Also the cheapest one.
600 euro , you're talking about is not right.

JSV is belgium
Piet is from Holland
HGS and DEP or SPES are from Holland
The pc pipe will give the most narrow powerband , not many ride with the pc pipe in the vintage class or on regular two strokes.
Then you have from Belgium van Hasselt, build a lot for side cars. Don't know if the person is still building.
PPS cone pipes around 500 , some do like it . Some don't like it.

Most is HGS or the Piet pipe.

I actually ended up getting ahold of a scalvini cone pipe brand new for $320usd should be here by Saturday I'm hoping. I will definitely keep everything you guys have shared in the memory bank. I didn't realize how many companies made pipes. I did a search on Google n didn't find half of what you guys shared. Them jsv pipes look very nice! Might be my next one for the next project. Thanks again you guys are great as always!

DEP are a British company. They're based down the road from me in Maidstone.
