She won't be received well here.

Well, in Memphis maybe.

But we don't admit to that shithole being part of our state.

It’s alright for them to do something like that but when the tables are turned, it’s the worse thing that ever happened.   Different set of rules…

Decorum only matters when the leftist are getting their way. Otherwise, it’s bullhorns, college protest tantrums and state troopers required to get representatives into the well…

But, never-mind all that…

This is RACISM! Laughing

Tennessee is a good place to get an ass beating from bunch of inbred rednecks that been cancelled since birth. Hate to see Nashville going the way of San Francisco, got Asheville just over the mountain that’s far worse, highest crime per capital in nation I saw on a Fox News piece. Business begging city to do something , but if one looked back a yr or two I bet some of those businesses were all about defund police,

how weird for them to have Perkins as last name but no relation,  I forget name of the guy Johnny got out of prison that played with them a minute before stabbing someone and going back in

Even a bucha folks that don't spend time around the TV get whats going on in America.

Biden needs to  "get an ass beating from bunch of inbred rednecks that been cancelled since birth".

Goes to show that the concrete jungle has indoctrinated the folks.

Word of advice?

Get the hell out of dodge and stop listening to the Media.

Take your mind back.

I hear ya on the Ashville thing.  I have family living in Maggie Valley.  It is so beautiful, so fun and I love going to Cherokee, but damn.  That lefty shit flies strong.  I used to love Waynesville they have/had such a cool main street, but homeless and drugs turned that place into a shithole I won't even go to now.

I’m 1.5 hrs east of Asheville.  Been calling it San Francisco of the East for years.  It used to be a cool place to go to a concert and spend the night but I don’t care to go downtown there anymore.

No I haven't.  Maybe I can check it out when I go down this summer.  I usually just grab my fishing pole and head to Cherokee.  Its only a drive up the mountain and down the other side, say 20 minutes.  I forget if I pay for a day or 3 day pass but its only $10 and there has only been a time or 2 that I haven't been able to limit out.  You can keep 10 so that is kinda cool.  I'm coming from WV so I'm usually driving either the way of Bristol or Cherokee.

3 Democratic members of Tennessee’s House joined a protest for gun control reform. 2 of them were then expelled by the Republican majority Tennessee Congress for doing so.

Little more complex than that, though. I can mostly understand the expulsions, as long as those types of actions in the future are treated in the same manner.

I live in Tennessee. I love it.

I do have to say this though,

The actions of those 3 disrupting the legislature deserved some kind of disciplinary action, but I think expulsion was a little extreme.

They were kicked off the committees they were on, and I think that should have been enough for violating rules,  first offense. It should have been made clear that wasn't the time or place and there would be more severe consequences for similar behavior in the future.

To completely negate election results of constituents in a questionable matter just because you have the votes to do so is a bit heavy handed and is certainly not helpful in working around the partisan bullshit that is dragging our entire country towards a precipice.

I don’t hate guns. I just think there should be more measures in place to make it much more difficult for people to get them that shouldn’t have them.

All three legislators that participated in disrupting the proceedings faced a vote on expulsion. The legislator that admitted fault and expressed remorse wasn't voted out, the two that doubled down were voted out.

The growing pile of dead elementary students continues to prove that beyond any doubt, so we'll just continue  to shrug and say there's nothing that can be done.

Male emotionalism is nauseating. Log off.

We have a colossal problem in this country with mental health and violence. You seek to tell the wolves they cant kill, I seek to arm the shepherds. Only one of those things have ever worked.

Ditto. I’m not sure what happened to our men but many have just folded, mentally and intellectually. I’m just waiting for these dudes to impose a ban on penises next time there’s a rape. It’s foolishness.

In his case it may be, female emotionalism.
