My big thing is, are we just giving all this stuff to the Ukraine? And then after the war we will be paying to rebuild Ukraine as well no doubt? If Putin gets overthrown is the mess that Russia is the USA's problem as well? At this point in our country we are transferring wealth across generations, my grandkids are going to get the bills for what this country is spending now. Someone convince me Ukraine is the USA's problem and not just a Europe thing. I understand how the world has changed post WW2 and the nuclear age and all, but good God, we are talking billions and billions of dollars. For ultimately what? Can't Europe aid Ukraine by herself?
The US won’t allow Europe to deal with it on its own. Too many US interests at stake. USA is the world boss. The US laid the foundation in Ukraine leading up to the current situation.

I don't think anyone is supporting the war, exactly. Russia is plainly the aggressor in all this - they invaded with no justification for the havoc they have wrought. So to support the war would be supporting Russia. Supporting the self defense efforts of the invaded is another thing. Doesn't matter if fault of some kind can be found with some of either side here - not acknowledging the plain reality that Russia blew this up by invading is in a way supporting their actions.

I don’t recall anyone saying Ukraine should not defend themselves or support Russia. I see a lot of folks discussing what led up to this, possible provocations whether you agree with them or not and just general posts on the situation.
What I’m asking is if Kongols considers someone a traitor if they don’t support his openly biased narrative. If disagreement or dissent with his opinion and beliefs constitutes a traitor. I mean, at the end of the day I don’t really give a shit what anyone thinks of my opinion, especially Kongols. Just reinforces the thread starters general attitude since the first post. He is partisan(no issue with that considering his location and citizenship) and pretty openly hostile to opposing thoughts, information or ideas.

It looks like the game just got changed with Russia bringing there "Kinzhal" hypersonic missile on-line. Apparently it's dubbed the "carrier killer" and can travel at speeds up to mach 12. It sounds like there's really no defense against it.
