No doubt this guy went on marketplace or some swap meet and used Venmo to pay a guy $20 for $100 tickets and the seller turned out to be bogus.....then comes here to complain and gets rewarded with free tickets.

My theory by following his comment history is that he bought the cheapest tickets and found out by posting on here that they supposedly check your tickets so you can’t go find better seats down below and he didn’t want to buy more tickets. He says he could afford to buy the cheap seats but doesn’t want that experience, which implies he really only wants to have nicer/more expensive seats.
Maybe I’m just being to cynical, though. Weird that he’s gone ghost since. Mav’s first reply to this thread was exactly what I was going to do. Try to get more details out of the supposed scam to try and poke holes without specifically calling him out.
It's ok to get better seats than you paid for because Ticketmaster is a giant faceless corporation.
Edit: I have no idea if he scammed or not, I just love that Simpsons clip and had to post it.

Hindsight is 20/20. Total bonehead move on my part. Someone was selling some on CL and already had skeptical hippo eyes as the person was being quick and straight to the point with every response. He sent me screen shots of the tickets. Once he said his only means of transferring $ was through Zelle I thought that wasn’t right and I told him that. He “assured” me they’re legit and I must have been having an off morning and just went with it. - this was before I knew there wasn’t any kind of protection though Zelle, I’ve hardly used it.
we would not have gone if it wasn’t for ML. Seats were sick. Weather could have been so much worse. I really wish they would open the pits up on the privateer side as so many fans would spill on to that side. Couldn’t believe how packed it was in front of Tomacs Semi.
