That idea has been shot around for a little while, but he just purchased that domain name. I'm not sure who is building the site, but I would think at least a banner would be up soon.

If your results are descent, maybe someone like the Butler Brothers could give you a ride. Talk to Forest, it couldn't hurt.

MITCH!!....hey man , it's Jeff Huber from Hindsight #503! Good to know you are healthy and ready to rip. I hope you can get some funds together to help you out for this next season. If my business was doing better , i would definitely pitch in. Whatever happens.....grow some thick skin , and STAY on this board. people always tend to start helping guys who participate on these moto forums. As long as you stay cool , maybe give some reports of the racing and so forth......people around here dig it. Although , there are some pricks in here as well.....and no matter what you say or do , they jump down your throat. mainly from the fat , couch racing bastards that never raced before , or made it out of the beginner class back in 1976.

I would first like to know what you are doing to help yourself? Do you have your year of racing planned out, do you know how much money you are going to need, to compliment any income you are bringing in, meaning do you have any sort of a job? How much did you spend last year? What are your results from last year, do you have a resume?

What sort of education do you have?

What are you doing, or have done, to help the sport? Why should you get donations over and above anyone else?

You really need to sell yourself if you want results...

I agree with this advise!

Also Mitch if your looking for sponsors make sure you spell your old ones right!

I've never heard of Wharthog? Do you mean Warthog? Little stuff like that goes a long way!

Good luck.

An excellent post.

Tough love but sometimes a little reality is a good thing.

It's not about breaking wills, Huck. Maybe we should just have a submission form/status board for guys who are looking for help for next season.

So i plan on doing the eight westcoast rounds. After that i am not sure just trying to take it one step at a time. As far as how much i need, is above and beyond what i am hoping to see from sponsors. last year license fees and entries were about $2000. Gas and practice fees are about 250-300 a week. I made night shows last year but no mains. Hopefully this year i can do it, now that i know what i need and what to expect. O and thanks for the "Tuff Love" it actually helps me and i am really surprised about the feedback i have gotten. Thanks
