You have got to think Kawasaki is ready to clean house from top to bottom 250-450. the question is Who would they replace with ?
Maybe Malcolm to Kaw ? Move Hampshire up to take his place ? Webb to Star . Honda is full.
How is Honda full? they have two 250 riders and one on a 450...

If hunter wins this championship. He is apparently on the 450 next year. If that starts at sx or mx who knows.
So Honda will either need a 450 guy in sx. Then a 250 guy in mx.
Or A 250 guy for the whole season.
also on pulp and other sources have said once both the lawrences are on 450s the 250 factory team will no longer be in house.
so 2025 the 250s could be else where.
I thought AC's contract ran through 2024.
Not sure on Ando's contract.
Honda does not care about the 250s do they? yet all the other manufacterers are gung-ho. Even in MX barely any CRF250..
AC is signed through 2024.
Anderson is in a contract year. I think he'll sign a 1-year extension.

Won't see Anderson at Triumph until 2025 when they introduce their 450 team.
Shimoda I believe is riding the 250 for another 2 years. Kawi should sign him to a long-term deal if they haven't already.

Based on the way he rode the 450 over here last year, I'd be pretty bummed to see Jo stay on a 250 for another 2 years.
yeah Jo has been open about him preferring to ride the 450 too. i think his smooth style will suit it well.
The biggest part is the whole Webb & Sexton deal...
Sexton wants to be the #1 rider.
but what happens if Webb finishes better in the season or wins the title? does KTM let Webb go? if he stays, Sexton wont go to KTM. If Yamaha already have a full 450 team, Webb chances to be back on star Yamaha slim down.
where does sexton go if he doesn't go to KTM?

IMO, I don't see Sexton going over to GasGas at this stage in his career. If he's going to be the number 1 guy over at the KTM Group, he'd do so on a KTM.
Then there's the whole TLD gear situation.
I think Barcia will be staying put where he is.
To me the only real question is the second spot at HRC... who slots in there?

So if Sexton goes to KTM.. Where does that leave Webb and Honda?
Jo is still young. Only 20.
Give him 23 and 24 on a 250 to win a title or 2. Then he can goto 450s at 22. By then he will be able to command a decent ride.
Where did you hear this about Hunter? Previous they made it clear he will be on a 250 till his contract expires at Honda.
Anybody heard what Beta motorcycles plans are. I know they introduced a 450rx at redbud last year but haven’t hear much since. I thought they wanted in?
I'm pretty sure it was mentioned in one of his post race interviews. or maybe on one of them Redbull Lawrence shows. But Hunter said he would be going 450's next year if all went to plan. I'm guessing the plan is to win SX and MX this year. defend the title and move up next years in outdoors
A lot of that depends on who’s on their 450 next year.
If they get a good 450 guy, Hunter is out at the end of next year.
I'm pretty sure it was in the preseason interviews from that ranch Honda do the launch. It was even in ML's interview with him.

Hunter: win championships and be on the 450 next year.
Hunter is about 23-24 he wants to be out of the 250 class asap. If he cleans up and wins sx,mx and smx. I can't see him being 250s much longer.
If he wins only the sx. Who knows what happens.
Honda have a 450 spot ready to go. And Hunter is going to get that spot when he is ready. Just depends when that is.
Chase to Star and Dylan to KTM or Gas Gas. I hope for Chase, but I hope Dylan stays put.
A season or 2 ago ktm wanted to have 2 riders. 2 on husky and 1-2 on tld. The only reason they had 3 was to keep marv and not making him join another team late in his career as he had been so loyal to ktm.
Is that still the case?
