COOL I am trying to figure out the steering and peddling. In the picture his left hand is down at about 4 o'clock position so I thought the right should be up about eye level. Enlighten us .

Both hands/arms work in unison at the same position during the stroke. As in 4 o'clock for both and back around to 4 o'clock for a ful stroke. Steering is done by a lever down by his knees or crotch.

Would steering be more better if it was like a chopper setup? Steering stem, with all the crank up above and just subtle right left movement with the cranks? Seems that the lever would take away from power by having to use a hand, unless it is a body shift .

On the bike, leaning/body shift steers the pedal bike. And typically with the push/run bike a steer lever is used. I've been away from Tri's for awhile, so not sure if design has changed with technology.

Talked to David this morning, he's ready to go....a bit nervous, but I'm sure he'll do just fine. There's going to be 4 past Ironman champions in the race including him, should be a great battle.

Goooooooo DB!!!!!!
