Only $10 for all 2026 SX, MX, and SMX series.
Because as evidenced by this thread, Americans generally don't give a shit about anything that's not inside their own national bubble, so attendance in the USA is low.
It's entirely possible and quite likely that they will come back to the USA and/or Mexico in the future. But they're still holding rounds in Europe, Asia and South America.
Me on the left watching internet fight...
I know what a world championship is, it is a label you can purchase from the FIM.
Feld used to buy one every year but then decided it wasn't worth the price so now some guys from Australia are buying it.

It also usually takes place across more than one country.
I actually never made an argument about the GP riders being better because it's a "world championship." I just take issue when people say that it's not a world championship, and that the AMA series somehow is.

I love how this thread has finally turded on Herlings. Can we go for Jett Lawrence next? Sick of hearing about his kid every 5 seconds on the broadcast.
MXGP races don't come to America cause their riders always get beat by AMA riders.
They don't go because the fans don't support it and the track owners lose money.
MXoN being the exception.
Slightly fixed for you there Mav...

That was an amazing event. Anyone that hasn't went to a NXON id highly recommend going to one. I will be attending the next event and I heard Red Bud could have another in 4 or 5 years.
Stefan Everts 2006 Matterley Basin. In all seriousness all of these guys in their prime are comparable. Some go out on their shields sort of speak and many go out on top having won their last races championships etc. . I think deep down racers know when they just don't have it in themselves anymore to soldier on. Injuries, time, competition, etc. Have taken their toll. When it comes to Herlings the guy has 99 GP wins something like that. I would love to see him do a tour in the states for the nationals.
Some of these threads evolve into a bunch of screaming kids at a damn day care center.
Lol yep. Been on here forever and never not once have I seen anyone argue about stuff like this and actually change the other persons mind or just put them so far in their place they admit defeat. It’s the internet. People have way to much time to sit back and think of a rebuttal to fit their agenda then type back. You can’t win and you aren’t going to convince people that have their minds made up. It’s like arguing over religion or something.
Only arguments that are worth arguing are predicting future racer matchups we can actually watch and get an outcome. Even when Herlings came to Ironman and put on a clinic people still weren’t convinced he was better lol so even then there is no winning!
He should just concentrate on staying on the bike when it really counts.
Which riders who were not pro, went to the U.S. and made 250 mains in sx?
I'm not into the who is better contests. Herlings has at times been unbeatable. For example, at the 2012 MXoN he lapped our 250 Champion and was close to lapping Dungey. But to be honest, I see more people from across the pond going on about how the GP riders are faster, and the MXGP series is where the best riders are, and those that leave are just going for an easier title is the U.S., etc. than I do from Americans.
Truth is, right now, Tomac would be hard to beat indoor or out by any rider in the world. And when Herlings is on and healthy he would be hard to beat.
The old reading comprehension cop out go to when your fragile ego just won't let you admit you were wrong. BTW I actually have the reading comprehension of a 14 year old, so now you're doubly wrong.
To be fair Turkey, Vietnam, Qatar, and Indonesia are all well known motocross hotbeds. Those countries have some of the most dedicated moto fans in the world.
Pit Row
Qatar hasn't been on the schedule for years, and Turkey and Indonesia both have decent motocross scenes although not many riders due to low wages.
Even if they didn't it's still good to potentially expose motocross into a largely untapped market.
You'd have a point with Qatar and the middle east in general (aside from Turkey and maybe Israel) if they actually went there.
Pssst, hey…mate, over here…
Are you just piss-faced because all your best riders head over to The States?
Ya know, this sport is fun actually, if you let it be.
Come on over and try it out.
Stoked to see the FMOTP return to the booth for Daytona this weekend!
no
Well, then…there is no pleasing you…
I'll just leave it here.
JH: Yeah, I know, people can say whatever they want, but I know I’ll not be a podium guy in Argentina, that’s not what I’m aiming for. I want to be a podium guy by round four or five and start winning from round six or seven. It’s such a long series now, we’re not doing like 40 but like literally 60 motos now. It’s going to be a long year so I prefer to just try to be around fifth in Argentina. I think that could be realistic and then just work from there. I think that track suits me a bit better right now and we’ll see.
So around a 5th in MXGP and there is easily 15 guys here racing. Damn he'd be lucky to crack top 20 fastest in the world. Obviously the FMOTP title has set sail a long, long time ago. I'll sleep good with him admitting his mediocrity and us all being able to put this issue to bed. Good lad that Jeffy is. 😉
Agreed. Stewart should have followed the same advice. We all know how that ended.😄
Red Bull is lying. The fastest racer on the planet is Chase Sexton.
You are embarassing,please stop!
there will only be one man known as the FMOP…

Exactly. Herlings is the man!
