I bought mine used through someone on thumpertalk that was here in Charlotte almost 20 years ago. 1 rack and  I am on my 4th vehicle. Thats pretty dam reliable!

Only problem I have had is the hydronic jacks that all have a tiny little rubber plug on the side where the oil is put in and air breaths through and that plug deteriorated over time letting some fluid leak when sitting sideways during rack storage. I also lost the tool for pumping the jack and improvised with a piece of pipe with an end cap and a pair of pliers. I also use 2 tie downs just because I am paranoid.

Looks good. Yours has Grade 5 bolts and looks like its lost less paint in 20 years than mine did during assembly. One part just touched my lower “L” and popped off a 2”x5” paint section. The exposed metal still had the oily film the metal comes from manufacturing with.

Just saw this posted in my riding group's FB page and immediately thought of this thread. It seems communication is still not jack rack's strong suite.

Remember when people bought vehicles designed to haul dirt bikes?

Pepperidge Farms remembers.

Remember when gas was cheap enough to drive those vehicles more than a few miles?

2019 remembers.
