It's the same as being in the zone to me. When I get there on my regular track, I don't even think. I just flow with it and every turn and jump is done with the precision needed to deliver optimal speed/low lap times with minimal effort. I can go 5 or 6 laps like that and sometimes not even remember it. It's the safest I feel out there. When I come off my boy will say Dad, you looked fast (it's relative) and smooth. Rare praise. mine was my last rmz and it was like I could do no wrong. I was less of a headcase then too probably lol

My 2012 RMZ450 was like that - among the most confidence-inspiring bikes I've had. One night at PiR Thursday Night Motocross I found it on my CRF450r during the races and I literally walked away from the field and won both motos by like 20 seconds, which is a LOT at that track. That was the year the PA announcer called me "The Holey Master" cause I was just killing the starts night after night. I can find it on my 2018 FC350 quite a bit but I'm getting old (60) and it's getting harder to find. Like a lot of other things! Smile

Mine was a 2014 - same chassis. Something about those bikes man. I cant seem to find it on my austrian at all, sometimes on the Yamaha. kind of makes me want to buy a clean used one lol. I love those days, my fondest memories are of those random late afternoons just ripping when you can do nothing wrong on the bike.

Yeah, the 2010-2014 RMZs were so comfort inspiring. On my FC350, once I went to the MX Tech Lucky fork I found it quickly. Could never get the air fork to give me the feel I need to trust the front. On, and the Pirelli MX32 front is a must - that alone is a game changer in front end feel when leaned over. Great, great tire.

First you have to find the mark. For me it’s getting to the inside line and not popping out of or standing up in the rut. Then doing it over and over.

Its 2 Laps to go someone right behind you who you’ve already fended off a couple times. All you need to do is hit your marks and you’ll bring it home. If you miss one mark, he’ll get you

Be the Mark…..Danny

The pros are good because they can string together those sorts of laps.  Remember when you first realized you were never gonna be able to do that?  That's why they created the B, C, and D classes.PinchBlush

I'm working on it Smile .  We can get there!

Which Mx32? The Mid-Soft or Mid-Hard?
