Hymas, Hawkins, deegan

Been following all three riders since they were young and I’m just stoked we get to see them line up and race!

Daxton Bennick and Evan Ferry will add fuel to that fire too.

Is Dax going pro for Outdoors or is he doing one more year at Loretta's?

I’m not sure to be honest.

He has  outstanding fittness for a 17.

Vialle looked great before crash.

Wait until these rookies shake the rookie nerves and realize they belong up front, there will be some really competitive racing

Bingo! They are gonna be good!

also…gift giving is a slippery slope. Do you know how many times js7 gave Rc4 ‘gifts’ by crashing while out front??

Same logic. Doesn’t matter.

……he was given a gift…..

What a ridiculous statement.  whoever the rider is, Did he ride a different track with less obstacles?

Tom Vialle (sp) thought he would fit in better in the states if he dropped back and let some US riders in the mix?  So he gifted a few spots….

Was there a joker lane  they didn’t show on the television ? That only rider _________ did not have take?

The 250 races were fantastic. Hope to see more of the same going forward!

Those of you who deny Deegan's great ride must not have been watching the same race. He had a very respectable start, rode well, capitalized on mistakes, and landed much, much higher in the results than probably anyone expected. Did he get a few "gifts?" Sure. Can he do it again? I say yes.

All of them did better than I had expected and I don’t for a second hope they suck. Impressive rides, the future looks bright.

Hymas got a great start and I suspect that amped up the pressure on him and his heart rate probably shot up and contributed to his falling back.

Deegan didn't have the start and put his head down and had a solid, grinding his way through the pack type of race.

The future looks good.

"Gifts" were only Vialle, and JMart though. Or was Thrasher ahead of him when he crashed?`Can'T remember.

Eitherway, a 6th or 7th would have been equally impressive. His corner speed is just freaking insane

So Martin crash was not gift.

If saying he has great fittness is not complimentary   I don't no what is.....

You have to be in it to win it (or take 4th place).  No Asterisks.  He was the 4th best rider Saturday.

Say what you want but Deegan looked fast in the turns

And turn speed is a premium

I heard from a buddy of mine that was working as a caterer at one of the pretty big privateer teams pits in Houston. He said that there was 4 or 5 yoked out Socal bros in black Metal Mullisha shirts, covered in 909, tribal, and Kottonmouth Kings tattoos, and black Mullisha hats. A couple wore straight bills and the others had them on backwards with the bills up, shorts to mid shin, and white sunglasses. He said they were walking to each title contender's semi doing mafia type intimidation on the riders and team. My buddy tends to lie a bit, so I don't believe much of what he says. But he swore up and down that they told Chance Hymas that he 'would know what danger is if he messed with the Danger Boy.' He said Hymas agreed to go slow in the main out of pure fear. Then one of the dudes gave him a head nod and 3 crisp $100 bills and a $400 Zumiez gift card. He said he thinks they did that at every top guys pit, but can't say for sure because he was too busy catering to go investigate. They also laced up some of the privateers that would end up being lappers a bunch of Mullisha swag if they "took" care of the guys in front of Deegan. I honestly don't know if I believe him, but he's stuck to his story and gave vivid details of everything. I've tried calling and texting him, but his phone went straight to voicemail after the 250 main....

And only the one caterer buddy saw this as they went from semi to semi threatening everyone……..I feel bad for Hymas though damn.  I guess Hunter...

And only the one caterer buddy saw this as they went from semi to semi threatening everyone……..I feel bad for Hymas though damn.  I guess Hunter ignored the thugs.  Since you know this guy tends to lie, why would you post this?  Obviously Vialle and JMart took a dive to save themselves from getting whacked.  I heard Joe Pesci was in the shadows calling the shots.

I know the 250 class is not the highest paying of the classes, but wow, $300 and a gift card to finish outside of the top 5 seems like a pretty cheap payoff.  I hope this is just sarcasm that I am missing. I was laughing halfway through thinking it was a joke. All the stereotype rumors  all packed into one.

I was impressed with Haidens corner speed and he seemed to be riding so much smarter than I would expect a rookie to ride. He was riding at the level he seemed to be comfortable and avoided a couple close calls  when others got out of shape around him. Going into the race , I thought a top 10 would be a good building block, solid ride if he pulled it off . Hymas was fast, but did what rookies do. I was not watching Hawkins close enough to have an opinion on his ride. Vialle surprised me running upfront like he did. I think that his scrub was a little dangerous when he was so close to Hunter, I hope he or any other racer doesn't do something like that and get themselves and or another rider hurt. I would say that scrubbing while the pack is still not spread out like that is dangerous. Maybe if the other riders know to expect it. But it seems like it was not needed and was more of a danger than a help. Since Hunter jumped off the side of the track and still did not really go much higher or slower. Seemed like it was more of a tactic to get some space around him than a scrub that helped him go faster. But Maybe I need to rewatch it. I could be wrong on that. . Antsie was a nice surprise too

I suppose you called it a gift when he fell last week.  There are no gifts in SX.  Crashing is part of the game.  He moved up the whole race from a mid-packish start.  Compared with Hymas’ start/finish?  Not the result you were hoping for but soon as you must.  How long you plan on keeping that up?

i think racing in the East is a gift to all the riders. With  a few of the best guys not being able to ride it gives all the riders a chance to run up front and have better results than normal ..
