Anyone try the luxon brake carrier? Looks like it saves a good amount of weight for not much money.

It's unsprung weight as well, so the laws of physics are on your side.
Top quality parts and engineering.
I have it installed on my fc250 2023, quality is top notch and its lighter than stock
Did you feel any difference in the rear shock with the weight loss?
it is only 100 grams lighter, i doubt you can feel any difference

True. I thought it was closer to half a pound, not sure where I got that from.
Hey guys - the brake carrier is about 100g lighter, which is almost 1/4 pound. That's pretty significant as it's all the way at the end of the swingarm, but it's not likely you'll actually feel the change. But that doesn't mean that it's not improving performance.
Anything you can do to reduce un-sprung weight will yield a performance gain. When you do this along with similar weight reductions like a titanium axle, lighter caliper, lighter wheels, lighter tires, etc. it all adds up. You will definitely feel a difference once you make a bunch of weight reductions like that; this is just part of that package. The brake carrier is arguably a small change in all of that; there is far more bang for your buck in something like lighter tires. But if you've already done all that, then this is a good next step.
