If this race is any indication of what’s to come, we are in for some good racing. All the rookies looked great and Deegan definitely proved himself to all the haters

Got a few gifts

He has  outstanding fittness for a 17.

Vialle looked great before crash.

What does getting a gift have todo with how good he rode ? Harden made some good passes, including the one on Chance. Then he gapped him, so there’s that……
Wait until these rookies shake the rookie nerves and realize they belong up front, there will be some really competitive racing

You know some of these guys will never give him the credit he deserves. Everything including finishing position is gifted to him in their eyes. It’s getting really old.

So Martin crash was not gift.

If saying he has great fittness is not complimentary   I don't no what is.....

There's no denying he was gifted a couple of spots, but he stayed up and they didn't.

He had a great debut.

The kid is ligit…. Outstanding debut. Did not expect a top 5 after watching him last weekend. Interested to see what he can do for the rest of the season. East coast shaping up to be a lot more exciting than the west.

They all rode well. Vialle was a big surprise. We are in for some good racing over the next 5-10 years. There's more in the pipeline where these came from.

Deegan's pass entering the whoops was outstanding. Commitment, accuracy, speed. There was little room for error or hesitation.

Deegans save in the whoops was pretty damn impressive, great ride.

I suppose you called it a gift when he fell last week.  There are no gifts in SX.  Crashing is part of the game.  He moved up the whole race from a mid-packish start.  Compared with Hymas’ start/finish?  Not the result you were hoping for but soon as you must.  How long you plan on keeping that up?

Yup when he crashed last week , it definitely helped the other riders finish higher.

I heard from a buddy of mine that was working as a caterer at one of the pretty big privateer teams pits in Houston. He said that there was 4 or 5 yoked out Socal bros in black Metal Mullisha shirts, covered in 909, tribal, and Kottonmouth Kings tattoos, and black Mullisha hats. A couple wore straight bills and the others had them on backwards with the bills up, shorts to mid shin, and white sunglasses. He said they were walking to each title contender's semi doing mafia type intimidation on the riders and team. My buddy tends to lie a bit, so I don't believe much of what he says. But he swore up and down that they told Chance Hymas that he 'would know what danger is if he messed with the Danger Boy.' He said Hymas agreed to go slow in the main out of pure fear. Then one of the dudes gave him a head nod and 3 crisp $100 bills and a $400 Zumiez gift card. He said he thinks they did that at every top guys pit, but can't say for sure because he was too busy catering to go investigate. They also laced up some of the privateers that would end up being lappers a bunch of Mullisha swag if they "took" care of the guys in front of Deegan. I honestly don't know if I believe him, but he's stuck to his story and gave vivid details of everything. I've tried calling and texting him, but his phone went straight to voicemail after the 250 main....

All 3 of the true rookies did really well. Now that the first race nerves are out of the way, I think Hymas and Hawkins will come around next week, and hopefully Deegan can back this week up.

There are no gifts in racing, if your competitor fell and you stayed on then you rode better. Hayden kept charging and put himself on a position to take advantage of the other riders mistakes.

I still think Hunter takes the championship without much trouble but the way these rookies mixed it up with the more seasoned guys should at least keep the season interesting

Personally, I don't think he was gifted anything. Riders ahead made Mistakes and Lost their positions.

And only the one caterer buddy saw this as they went from semi to semi threatening everyone……..I feel bad for Hymas though damn.  I guess Hunter ignored the thugs.  Since you know this guy tends to lie, why would you post this?  Obviously Vialle and JMart took a dive to save themselves from getting whacked.  I heard Joe Pesci was in the shadows calling the shots.

Remember Marv pulling over for the Dunge, and Savatgy gifting Tomac a cool Mil? There are most definitely gifts given out there on occasion.

The way I see it he stayed on two wheels all night and the other guys didn’t. But I wasn’t really talking about last night. It was more of people saying he was gifted with his ride and everything. Kid earned his ride and his results on that bike in AM’s proved it. I can’t really think of anyone else that deserved the Star offer outside of him and Daxton. Now he moves up and even before Vialle and Martin went down he was still running in the top ten.
