Any news on this? I know the factory edition had it last year and it’s not available anymore because of the chip shortage. I’ve heard it’s going to be a Bluetooth or wifi dongle you connect to a port behind your number plate 23+ bikes.
What do ya know?

I have one, use it on my 22 450. It’s better than a simple coupler or map switch, but less capable than the Yamaha app (or Suzuki, Honda, and Kawasaki - yes they have tuning apps too!). Hopefully KTM continues to develop the app and hardware (which was made my Trail Tech), it would be great if they released it for the 23+ bikes including TBI, maybe wishful thinking..

It’s coming for the ‘23 for sure. Something with GPS involved too. Definitely looking forward to what the new app will consist of

I wanetd to buy one but I was told KTM uses the hardware (Bluetooth connection box) also on their big street bikes to run the navigation and due to shortages in the supply chain they had to take it off the offroad bikes to keep that feature on their street models...

Is the one that came on the 21s worth having? I see some for sale once in a while. I already have a custom map (TZR) on my 22 350 but would like less engine braking

Those things are worthless toys.
I had one for a week last year, took it off and installed a Vortex.

I was told by my dealer this is still coming.  I don’t know when…. But it’s a start.

Does it work on the 2023 bikes?

So fucking big and ugly. Who wants to hit their face in that things instead of a soft bar pad?!

I really enjoyed the app on my 21. Very, very noticeable difference when adjusting engine braking levels, seriously felt like a different bike with it turned all the way down. I miss that feature on my 22.5 big time. FWIW, Nihlo concepts has a relocation bracket that puts it behind the number plate so you can run a standard bar pad. I have a NIB unit if anyone is interested.

Have you tried it on your 22.5? The app shows 2023 models now.

Bike was totaled along with the tuner control unit. Probably should have snagged it before letting it go to the crusher.

The 23's only have recommended suspension settings, no engine tuning feature
