That is the $xxx,xxx question, isn't it. Barcia reminds of both Stewart and Carmichael. I think ProMed might have nailed it.

I just watched the 1st moto from Red Bud, where he chased down Metty. The kid is a champion. Not sure how long it will take, but he just bleeds talent. Metty is a great great rider, and very fit, so for Barcia to be able to that, even once, says alot.

I think he'll be a lot like Stroupe in SX this year. Checkers or wreckers.

I think he could beat anyone in the 250 class for an SX title except Pourcel. So, if he goes for the opposite coast of Christophe, he'll be my favorite.

Trey for sure to be a title contender but not sure where he will end up. Suzuki or FC both proven title contenders. Depends on who brings the most money to the table. I also bet Trey and CP find eachother on the same coast. Trey knows to be the best you have to beat the best. How awsome would it be to see him beat RV and CP for two SX titles.

I was thinking the same thing at first, but Stroupe crashes a lot more than Barcia. Barcia led several motos for a while and I don't remember too many "Oh shit" moments.
Maybe the only thing wild about Barcia is how he makes the engine scream...

what about Craig? let's not forget he was the fastest at the last three rounds of the outdoors and the kid has skills when it comes to sx.

Barcia will be good indoors, and win some main events, but i think he will make some rookie mistakes that will cost him a chance a the title.

About CP sandbagging, how is that possible in the pro ranks?
If so, RV should've moved up 2 years ago and Stewart should retire.

With Canard,barcia, weimer and a couple of other guys in the mix, it will be exciting in both regions.

Barcia is one of my favorite riders to watch & I hope he survives his rookie SX season.
He has unlimited potential but is a little inconsistent but understandable for his young age.

At Unadilla the crowd was working into a frenzy trying to get him to go up the field but for some reason he was off his game.
