Help! Removing kyb shock rebound adjuster

I am needing help if anyone can explain and tell me how to remove a rebound adjuster from a kyb shock?

I believe there is a very small Allen set screw that holds the assembly in place. I there a small hole in the area?

Careful,  it might be peened or thread locked

No holes on the whole casting, I’m wondering whether something will be obvious once the shock shaft is removed

I do belive for KYB you need to back out the adjuster all the way. Don't take it out just to the last open click. Then you have to remove the shaft and then you can open the internals up.

I ended up being told how to get my one out. what shock is the bike out of and year. 

my shock was off a 2021 yz125, a answer for u for what i was told is that they’re pressed in so what you gotta do is heat the clevis up super super hot and pull out with vice grips or something that’ll grab the piece strong enough, also trying to limit as much damage as possible.

let me know how you go, taking shock shafts out will not uncover anything.

Are you able to post a photo of the clevis with rebound adjuster assembly etc, that’ll help a lot

 This (or something similar) is on the inside at the bottom of the shaft. The adjuster pushes the rod up when you screw the adjuster into the slot on this item shown.

 I tend to agree, once the shaft is off and internals removed. I think a lot of heat and the adjuster will pull out 🤞🏼 Thanks for all the help guys
