There is no shot that anyone will have anything for Jett all season.

LOL at the person who voted for Hampshire.

He’s probably a great guy and he’s obviously fast as hell(at times), but Champion. Lol come on.

I think if he's got the bike figured out and Jett gets injured (I'd say like 40% chance that happens) then decent shot he wins it

Well, if Forkner can come in with a clear head then he probably can race with Jett.

McAdoo might suprise but I can't see anyone consistently sticking it to Jett. The Aussie has another gear if needed.

Genuine question, has he ever made it through a full 250SX season without a huge crash?

I predict a red-wash.

OMG this is going to be so exciting I’m literally pissing my pants in excitement..

Thanks Honda for giving us fans such an exciting prospect. I must rush out and buy myself and kid a CRF.

Apparently his gf was about 15-16 when he was about 20.

Who is to know exact ages or anything so let's not judge or make accusations unless you have facts.

That's not exactly surprising considering he's a veteran of the class. He turned pro outdoors 2016, so heading into year 7 of SX.

38 races, 20 podiums including 12 wins.

Best Season: 2019 & 2020 finished 3rd.

Not hating, just facts.

Now let's look at some of the other names listed in the poll.

RJ Hampshire

48 races, 7 podiums including 1 win heading into year 9.

Best Season: 2022 finished 2nd.

Jett Lawrence

23 races, 14 podiums including 7 wins heading into year 4.

Best Season: 2022 won 250SX East.

Cameron McAdoo

38 races, 13 podiums including 2 wins heading into year 7.

Best Season: 2021 finished 3rd.

The poll should have been, if Jett crashes who will win the championship?

Jett wins unless Jett crashes which is unlikely but possible.

So you condone statutory rape and bigamy, nice. Another great addition to the forum.

Edit: Gollum must have deleted his post in which he said: "its totally natural and normal for a 14-16 year old woman to have a relationship with or even marry an adult. Hell I don't care if the man chooses to multiple brides of that age. Keep your government out of my bedroom"

Did you watch the races last year? No hate, but Jett crashed his fair share and was lucky to not get injured when he took Forkner out of the series.

I hear you.  I think Jett has ironed things out by now but we'll see if he keeps it on two wheels.

Austin has also raced 3 more seasons.

If you want to compare apples to apples you need to look at their first 3 seasons.

Austin Forkner

22 races, 11 podiums including 7 wins.

Wins x7, 2nd place x1, 3rd place x3

Jett Lawrence

23 races, 14 podiums including 7 wins and 1 250SX East Championship.

Wins x7, 2nd place x3, 3rd place x4

Masterpool on the Zook will be a surprise this year. Not saying a championship, but will turn some heads.

Not disputing that. Simply pointing out that Austin has a higher win percentage and has only done 15 more races although he’s been in the class much longer.

Jett had 7 wins from 20 races. Then seemed to not push in the last couple races to consolidate his championship.

Something forkener failed to do when in the same position.

It is comparable...  But the trajectory today between the 2 is quite different.  I hope Austin has it together and stays healthy so we can see them race a bit.

I agree. Hopefully nobody ends Austin’s season prematurely again. He’s been through enough on his own already.

Since we're on the subject of more races, I wondering if anyone was close to Martin Davalos' 250 start record (104 races) and to my surprise, it was a lot closer than I thought. I thought for sure Party Marty was leading by a mile.
