I didn't read 10 pages either. I wish they all would leave god out of their podium rants., especially when they say ,they would like to thank god for keeping them safe. God does not protect Motocross racers while they are racing. That said , it's their podium they should be able to say what they want.

True, but the devils main focus is for no one to serve god. It makes his job a lot easier if people believe that there is no god to begin with.

Yeah, like when Larry Brooks cracked Broc Tickle for thanking his dog, he didn't know that BT was dyslexic and actually thanking his God!

I did not read all the pages either but if people's belief in god keeps them from doing wrong i say don't bash it. It is a consequence of judgement for some people and a lot need this belief to remain on the right path. Sometimes sad but true. If all those people were proven wrong, the crime and violence in the world would sky rocket. Seems silly but actually very true. Cosequence, we are living in a time with no consequence and it has made for to much complacency and now the downward spiral. Let people believe what they want if it helps that individual. Trying so hard to prove this wrong is like taking hope or consequence away from many. Seems like a lose lose situation. Yes religion is the cause of many wars but it also helps a bunch of people that do not have the same mindset of the next person.

So, if it's perfectly fine to announce your beliefs on the podium I wonder what kind of a response a rider would get if he were to thank Buddha for keeping them safe? Hahaaa, now that would be something different!
Not reading 10 pgs, but you do realize Buddha was a person, not a god right?

Are you serious? What you just said is so stupid that I can only assume you're trying to be ironic.

It's kind of daunting when you think about it, even if you did have everything you wanted, it would be an extremely empty existance.

BTW I'm an atheist, but I have no problem with who people thank on the podium.

One the good things about motocross is that it's NOT as up tight as some other sports.
or hell...sheit, i bet i could hang a trillion years in damnation with gnashing of teeth and despair but i don't think i could do eternity...know what i'm sayin? lmao

I liked Nerd better before he became a mod. He has lost some game, and a sense of humor.
