The VET National this year was off the hook... With over 1000 entries and a track that looked like a full-on National track. Did anyone race this year?? It's impressive to see Guys like Brown and McGrath out there killing it... Also, the 50pro class was huge... 34 riders and stacked talent.. Nicole MXGP World Champ, Julian Cerny Canadian Pro, Matasavitch Ex Factory rider, Steffy ex Supercross Guy and so many more... If you raced was it as rough as it looked?

I raced Sat and Sun.

I, unwisely, picked up a brand new 2021 KX450 friday night and raced it sat in the 50 pro class. The track was brutally rough. The downhill on Sat was at least a scary, if not scariest ever, I have seen it (I race GH 20-30 times a year as I live 30 min from the track).  I ran top 5 early in both motos but bad arm pump effected my riding and ended up fading in both motos (I think I went 15-8 for 12th overal). But came back sunday and got 4th in the 50+ Pasha 125 race. Easier to ride a 125 than a 450 wen you are out of riding shape!  Sunday's track was as rough as saturday except the downhill was not quite as bad, just normal gnarly downhill. But like I said, Saturday was insane.

On my bucket list. I raced REM there once and had a blast doing that. My profile picture is actually from that race.

Yeah you are right.. There was a lot of guys that I was impressed with. Saturday Tilly and Keifer were really fast in the 40 pro class and Cerney, Steffy and Sabbaugh were killing it.. Nicoll and Cerney were out front and by them selves while in moto 1 Steffy started way outside of top 10 and worked to 6th and Sabbaugh was a solid 4th in Moto 2 both Nicoll and Cerney again were gone and both Steffy and Sabbaugh both outside the top 10 on the start worked up into 3rd and 5th. Sunday and the 125 class looked killer... and Mosiman was on fire as well.. It was a lot of fun to watch.. next year I will take my vacation and try to ride it... Great job to Kevin 852 I think I saw you out there...

I raced 25+ and 30+ novice and had an absolute blast! It get pretty rough but I honestly like it better that way because I enjoy picking my way though the track and trying to find smoother lines.

I was doing the down hills pretty decent earlier in the day and was making up time on people, but my last two motos on Saturday I became very intimidated and was going painfully slow down them and losing a ton of time.

Heres my last moto of the day (sunset moto) on Saturday. Sunday wasnt as rough for me since I only had to do 2 races
