I don’t get that thinking either. Any warm body that can pass a drug test and show up to work everyday will make 100k as a laborer in the Chicagoland area right now. I’d imagine California is similar or better. CNC techs, welding/fabrication, or anything that requires a little skill and motivation will provide more financial stability than breaking your wrists for the 12th time for the $450 AMA purse. On the other hand, he can always go this route after one more shot at the SX dream.
Agreed.
Entry level mechanical trade workers in so cal are pulling down 4-6k a month starting with little experience. And nobody wants these jobs.
But working a 5 day a week job at a construction site doesn’t get the IG likes or Follows, and won’t allow you to claim to be a “ professional athlete” in your bio…
$48k/year before taxes, in So Cal? That is barely scraping by
Seemed kinda weird when this team went from a dually pickup to a semi and the title sponsor was some obscure off shoot of the dudes local suspension company.
Then mid SX a guy posted here about SGB suspension being non communicative.
Not paying riders as promised seems about in line with all that.

Chisholm also claimed he bought bikes from a dealer which is a total lie being a yamaha guy all this time but especially in the last few years when he was featured on their commercials. I agree with the poster above "I'm making no money" statement is one step above panhandling when they in fact are in many other avenues or they wouldn't be flying to the races etc.....
It's under 100k. And when Aray was competing with a soccer field to get paid. That's why everyone split. I do know SGB has a new indoor soccer field.
SGB mechanics weren't making 1000 a race.
Lol. Where do you people come up with this shit.
Wait a minute, SGB...the small time suspension company....built a Soccer field?
So I'm confused are you saying that they couldn't pay their riders because they decided to build a soccer field?
I'm not saying that but it kinda seems like Big Natty is saying that. I too am confused.
It's the thing to do.....make stuff up about things you know nothing about.
I'm not sure about Jason's involvement, but an indoor athletic complex was recently built right next door.

Everyone knows that if you do a commercial then the contract states that you get unlimited bikes!
Whats even better is tokarski is the one doing all the riding in the Yamaha commercials. Chiz has made a good living from dirt bikes but that doesn't mean he's getting free bikes because he rides a Yamaha
So my question and has always been for any privateer racing ? Do they honestly think they should be making 100k a year and not making mains or finishing inside the top 20 outdoors ? Or should they be hitting as many fair races to make some really good money on the side ? I look at someone like Marshall Wentz that hits up as many side races as possible. Or A Ray that I know of just races sx and nationals when he is healthy. Honest question who benefits the most ?
This isn’t really a fair comparison. A Ray used to race a lot more off-week stuff. He just hasn’t as much lately. That’s okay. His brand is bigger. He’s worked to build it. But he did grind just like any other rider.
