Great job by Darkside. Good insight here. I’m hoping nothing but the best for this 16-year-old kid. As a fan, so exciting to have another really hot prospect to watch.

I'm a hard no on anything Deegan now days... just another kid being thrown to the wolves by his parents...
Hard no but the first to comment....so would that make it a soft maybe....
If you don't say something positive about deegan. You will get blasted your an adult hating on a 16 year old child.
Great interview!
It sucks the poor kid gets so much hate.
I like how Ben Towley put it on gypsy. Regardless of what people think or who his dad is, to be competitive in this sport you still have the check off the same boxes as all of the other guys you are racing with when it comes to training, effort, work ethic etc.

The kid puts in the work but always seems to get slow pitched. Other kids don't and still overcome. I wish him well.
How do you figure that? He's not pro at 16 as per past prodigies, brought along slowly, and probably has the money he's made managed quite well.
Just curious, do you sit around all day and wait for him to be brought up so you can be the first to defend him?
Do you sit around and misread posts without the ability to understand any type of humor all day….please help me understand how my post has anything to do with defending anyone….how many usernames is this for you now?
Just curious,
What were your previous usernames?
LOL! This place is worse than middle school.
Bunch grown ass babies up in here.

Completely different path to Jett, I wonder how the two will end up career wise in 10 years time.
How so? Both of their parents gave their child everything they could to have a racing career. I don’t think Jett was riding clapped out bikes as a amateur rider. Deegan my have had a nicer home and bigger RV but Jett obviously had the support to win.
Deegan mentioned = DonM all over it
You use that same line on everyone new that offends you.
You seem to be the one who is offended....I'm not the only one asking the question as it is usually a previous troll that has to sign up under new usernames numerous times because their posting style gets them banned and they never learn......welcome back...again...hopefully you can get it right this time...
Let me guess, you're American, you don't own a passport and English is your only language.....
He's reaching his potential, pretty damn impressive.
Pit Row
Seriously. Brian has paced Haiden's amateur career pretty well. His jump from B to ironman was pretty big, but the kid has proven to have speed, program and the proper mindset albeit with a few rookie mistakes. Besides his "Danger boy" name and family's youtube channel, what is there to hate about the kid?

I know Deegan caught hell for celebrating at Mini-Os, and maybe the burnout was a bit much, but the kid rode awesome. I watched his one moto where he came back from well outside the top 15 to pass for the win on the last lap. He had a rough go of it last year at that event. At the end of the day he is still a kid and you have to view him through that lense.
I speak Spanish. Yea Jett went the GP route like Reed. Was Jett at some major disadvantage during his amateur career? My point is both kids parents gave their kid everything they could. I don’t see any reason to hate Deegan because his parents are wealthy. Would it make you happy to see Deegan fail and Jett succeed because you didn’t get the chance he has? Jett and Haiden obviously have both put their work in on the bike. I wish them both the best.
Being on the other side of the world as a kid, not being able to speak the language, not having any friends or school mates or extended family with you, not having a house and sleeping on a pool table as your bed, living on baguettes and tuna as your food. I would say that's quite different from the life DB has grown up with.
This. You can't fake it in Motocross.
On the other hand Jett never had the expectations put on him that Haiden has through his whole life. So yeah the both have lived very different lives, who are you to decide which kid had the harder life? Let’s be honest Jett traveled the world racing his dirt bike and Haiden did it in the USA. Do you think either had a bad life? They both had it better then I am I bitter? No!
The Lawrences had no choice but to make things work. That's a lot of pressure when the whole family is all in and they're the one's putting food on the table and keeping a roof over their heads.
Whether Deegan made it or not wasn't going to change anything for the Deegans.
So if Jett never made it his life would have been ruined? I’m willing to bet the Lawrence family would not have been homeless if they didn’t make it. People act like no family in the world has ever thrown away everything to make it. We hear about the Lawrence family because they made it! Trust me plenty of families have went all in, we don’t hear of it because they didn’t make.
They sold everything they had, so if neither one made it, they would've had to go back to Australia to nothing and start from scratch.
If Haiden didn't make it, the family would've still had a place to live and be just fine.
Ok you’re right.
