I still love Husky's and this is typical of the new direction BMW is taking the brand. Had to post a second time cause I couldn't figure out how to fix this post

The claimed dry weight on that bike is 20 lbs. than the other 5 250s and 2 lbs. heavier than a yz 125.

the last husky i had was a lemon...it was a 250cr..an 80 or 81...i got a hole shot and went into the first corner..hit the brakes and the front brake stay arm broke..i went right over the bars
the ignition cracked..stator..couldn't find one for a couple months..finally found one in ohio
i broke the kick sart shaft..sheared right off

and then one day it seised when i was warming it up
worst bike i ever had

I think this bike has a few updates. I have ridden a few late model Huskies, they have came a long way in a short period of time. The 2 strokes that were raced at the nationals a few years ago were very unreliable.

glad to see another brand coming on strong here in the US.. who knows maybe the euro brands will make a comeback in MX here in the US?

That exhaust is very vulnerable...it looks to low, and poorly mounted. (IMO) however, the bike looks cool. MXA did a test rider on all the new Huskies, however, this bike (250) was not yet ready for test.

I know a bunch of guys who have had late model Huskys. Mostly supermoto, but they all love the bike. As reliable as any Japanese bike these days and plenty fast.

as far as i know the forks are 50mm twin chambers from marzochi and the shock is a sachs boge.

im not gonna start another thread but ive been looking at the new Husabergs and they have a completly new and radical motor/frame design that is really cool to check out...one bummer is that there is no purpose built moto bike just enduro models in 2 displacments...i have always loved to look at these bikes!

I the past husky has been a tall awkward bike. I wonder if its changed. The kick starter looks to be finally on the right side?

magazines are claiming this 250f is the lightest in the class and even more powerful than a ktm. combine that with linkage and this could be a good bike.

wonder if we'll ever see it on the ama mx grid next year at all?

Huskys are damned good bikes! Don't think you'll see one at an AMA national. Something about Husqvarna not paying the AMA....

Kayaba forks, Sachs shock according to MXA on 2010's.
