Is there any wide foot pegs that will fit with little to no grinding/machining ? Anybody have any cool after market goodies to sell for this bike ?

The 88 Rm pegs should bolt right on, they are marginally wider. If you want to keep your pegs & pin size the same, you can weld on Works Connection peg wideners. Any newer pegs will require drilling out the pin hole on the frame & coming up with a solution to the spring placement… here is a photo of an 87 I restored using some leftover 92 Rm pegs I had. You will be lucky to find a pipe & silencer for this bike, they are getting very scarce… check the water pump impeller, they are known for breaking & killing the engine..

Thanks, Sandman. Going through the whole bike now. you know how it is saving old bikes gotta check everything out. my DG pipe is ok. I will look into some 88 pegs and see if they are wide enough.

I am working on an '88 right now. I bought a used set of pegs as one of mine on the bike was slightly mangled. If you want the old set just to check fitment and compare width you are welcome to have mine.

I just acquired a 1986 125 G model . I got a clutch case that is fubar .. hoping to weld it . Previous owner had it jb welded .. leaked oil really bad .. and the clutch basket hit the repair from push jb weld in the case . It bothers me .. smh...

I will check some of my old take off pegs this weekend. I will let you know about your 88 old set I after I check what I have. Thanks. looks like even the 88 pegs could use the weld on wideners.
