I watched it again this morning, and made the following mental points.

1. That new double by the finish line looks awesome, can't wait to land it or wreck it this afternoon.

2. They REALLY need to get rid of that triple out of the turn on the front stretch, or change it up. I have seen only 4 people do it, and the only one that was close to clean was jlaw. Maybe build up the inside lip on the landing of the triple, so we can single to table the first tabletop?

if you want a comparison video of a mere mortal, feel free to strap that helmet cam on my shoei anytime. it would be interesting to see just how much faster he is around that track. I usually turn ~2:30 laps (before the new section was in). His warmup was 2:12

Matt is that new section going to be permanent? Looks good I hope it stays.

The triple before the two turns is fairly easy if you go way way outside, I have done it from the middle on a 450 and have gone around the edge of the track on my 250f and made it, but it's faster to stay inside and double it. I agree that section should be changed up.

Great videos...Amazing helmet cam vid.

But I'm not a huge fan (only a small one) of the "scrub every bumb" style like Barcia and Bubba. It makes riding look harder than it is (or maybe it makes it look as hard as it is), in my opinion.

I prefer a style like Pourcel's...and yes, he can scrub...but he ain't scrubbing every bump...smooth, calculated, precision...he makes riding look way easier than it is...and as someone that knows how hard it is to go my speed (much much much much much slower than Pourcel), I find it awe inspiring to watch how easy he can make going his speed-and just riding in general-look.

Pourcel is so smooth he looks like a snail. Its cool to watch, so smooth and calculated he looks lazy out there. It would be fun to have back to back helmet cams of Barcia and Pourcel on the same track

well, there's no way i'd qualify for A class at loretta's! maybe vetB if I had the time and money to invest. If it had more of a run, i'd give it a shot. Christiana hospital is fairly close. if you come up short, you are riding the front tire right into the face of that tabletop, and it takes a fair amount of space to get my 230lb lard ass over a jump, even with a 450.

OK.
I can't post 2 Justin Barcia videos in one day.
My hosting service is throwing emails me every 10 minutes saying my traffic is peaked right now and the site either works or it doesn't.

If you can't view the videos, please visit my YouTube channel at http://www.youtube.com/wozwick

Thanks!

He rides like he smoked some crack beforehand.

I'd love to hear what his heart rate peaks at during a moto.

One of his trainers measured his heart rate while on a stationary bike at the track this week but honestly, I forgot what it was. I just remember the result of the test was "Excellent".

One of the best vids I have seen in a long time !! You focus on the rider and his talents, not everything else around him... good job...

Woz, really, really cool video. Every time he whipped it over and the fender passed in front of the camera, I flinched.... By the time it ended I was almost whipping my laptop!
