Gotta love all the Euro girls that come over to check out the festivities

This is the absolute worst thing that could ever happen for International motocross in the USA. Only the most hardcore fans are going to fly to see the race. Only the most hardcore fans are going to drive 20 or 25 hours to see the race. For 98% of the country though that's exactly what you have to do.

Budd's Creek was within 500 miles of about 150 million people. Denver is within 500 miles of about 8 million people. It is just too far from everyone and the result will be low attendance. It will be deemed a failure and kill any hopes of Grand Prix's or Des Nations coming back to the States on a regular basis again.

It is so bad I cannot help but have the idea floating around in my head that we are possibly being set up. Some Europeans do not want to come here due to the costs and the competition. One huge failure of a race gives them an excuse to not come back for a very long time.

I managed to see the start from where I was sitting. I didn't notice any "cordoned off" areas.

The 250 f race this year at Lakewood was one of the best I have ever seen in my 37 years of watching moto. The former GP guys all did well there.
Seems like a good choice.

Personally I thought tracks like Glen Helen, Red Bud or even Unadilla would be a better choice. I think the dirt is better at those places plus better overall facilities. I'm sorry I forgot to include Southwick also.

Mostly right...but, Southwick would not work from several aspects. Too small overall: parking, spectating, etc.
East Mag: We were there and Budds was great, except a few more tunnels would have helped. We could see everything we wanted to see.
Cyngus: save us an rv spot, so I can ride your track, during our trip!

I wasn't sure on the 'Wick. I know Red Bud, GH and Unadilla have the capacity. Don't get me wrong I am glad to have it back here but I was hoping it would be one of those first. Now we need a GP back here dammit!
