Awesome! (for me) Ain't the best track, but I'll sure as hell take it. We need to set up the "Woodstock" of Vital get-togethers at Cygnus's.

Somebody'll need to invite him, though...

Awesome!! I have raced Lakewood since the early 90's when it was called " Lakerock" or "Rockwood". The improvements to this track have been phenominal! Great place for it! I think this is probably the most "euro" style MX track besides Unadilla may'be!

Lakewood's actually a tough, awesome track to ride. When it ruts up, it's a fantastic challenge. Only thing I'm curious is about the crowd size. I think the first national (since it came back to Colorado) drew aboutt 20,000. It wasn't too bad.

I'm stoked to have CO MX on the world stage. Claybaugh has done an awesome job with this track over the past few years and I'm sure he'll do a great job for this event. Party in the Rockies!!

Denver's very dry towards the end of September. 99% likely the weather will be wonderful.

Message to promoter: don't let them cordon off half the track. The stuff they pulled at Budds was ridiculous. They fenced off two thirds of the track to make the crowd look bigger. You couldn't even see the start.

No lights - My friend builds the track, he said they're making major improvements through out > widening, changing layout, its during the day & it's gonna be rough.

To all of the competitors be sure to wash your bikes and wash them quick and thoughouly. That place will corrode a bike away in a week if you leave that crapdirt/street sweepings on it. Party at olympicmx sept 2010.

Awesome! I've wondered why Dave limited the layout. IMO, he should open it up into the kid's track, then put the kid's track in the middle of the MX track. During Nats, he could just move the lost spectator area into the middle of the MX track.

I'm in.

This is to cool, I've always wanted to go to a MXdN and Colorado. Now I could kill two birds with one stone.
