Especially after the "Straight Rhythm" commercial him and Barcia made. You would think Troy Lee GasGas would welcome having another top 450 rider on the team. I know he would have to leave Fox, but which company pays him the most is the question. But there is also the rumors Red Bull is going to just sponsor the teams and not the rider. I was suspicious after Pastrana, who has done more for the Red Bull brand than anyone in our sport, all of the sudden is now sponsored by whoever the F is "Black Rifle Coffee" is out of no where. Does he go GasGas and lose Fox? Or does he go to Kawasaki and lose Redbull? Going to be interesting to see how this plays out.

“It’s nice to see that I still know how to ride whoops”. Anyone else kinda feel this is kinda a dig at his Hondas holding him back since he hopped on the Yamaha for SR? He was on the Honda at the WSX and they had whoops.

I actually don’t have people telling me if it’s a PC Kawasaki deal or a Monster Factory ride.(I presume it’s the latter, but again I don’t really know for sure. The only thing I can say at this point, is that I’m told that he has a Green bike in his possession, that he’s going to be riding/ testing. If things work out, we will see him race it. Take that for what it’s worth. He may have one of each color as far as I know…
I doubt he’s going to bother riding it until WSX is over with.
If I’m wrong, I’ll be happy to admit it. Things change fast and who knows what will happen in the end.

ML did say a Kenny had bought a KX450 for whatever reason so this fits.

Yeah....who's this clown now? I thought Hopper and Cooksey were bad...this clown said Craig's Husky deal was falling thru a week before October announcements. Pretty stupid considering everyone knows rider/team changes happen after October 1st of every year unless an oddball signing after supercross.

Got it, thanks for the clarification! I've seen the rumor floating around but I don't listen to any podcasts so I didn't know the details.

Maybe redbull logos on a kawi that he buys and Mitch builds for him to race like Reed did in 2011 with his Hondas ? I’m not in the know at all I’ll admit that just don’t see him leaving redbull to ride for factory monster team in his last few years he has left . He’s a life time redbull athlete since on minis. But I might be totally wrong on this

There have been many long term relationships between riders and sponsors/ brands that eventually come to an end.
Josh Hansen was let go be Monster and is now on a Rockstar Husky.
Musquin is in O’Neal gear now in arguably his last year or two.
Who thought we’d ever see Sexton leave Monster, to go to RedBull KTM at his peak, but that’s almost a done deal too…
How about Dungey leaving KTM as brand ambassador to join the Geico Honda team a few years back
Villopoto leaving Kawasaki to go to Yamaha as brand ambassador.
MC bumping Fro to take over at Kawasaki as brand ambassador
Fro to Husky as brand ambassador
RC to be a brand ambassador for TRIUMP ??

I don’t know what the relationship between Kenny and RedBull is today, but let’s be honest here, he has struggled a bit lately to live up to the expectations that everyone was putting on him, as well as the expectations he puts on himself.
Personally, I’m a HUGE Ken Roczen fan and I just want to see him happy on whatever bike he decides to ride.

Webb heading back to Star in ‘24 has been mentioned and Sexton heading to KTM as well.
There’s some musical chairs being moved around, let’s see where the dust settles. In the meantime, I don’t think it’s out of the question for Kawasaki to hedge their bets against AC. Do we know that he’ll be ready to race A1 ? Just sayin!
