2020 yz250f. Can I replace the buckets without having to replace the cams. Complete rebuild on a motor after loosing 3rd gear. The buckets are worn but the cams are ok.

Id measure your cams and make sure theyre in spec. Its hard to believe the buckets would be toast with no wear to the cam lobes
