Their house was robbed while at Loretta's. Motorcycles, Bicycles, assorted stuff.

I got the message too late tonight to talk with them. I will post some more info tomorrow, but I would think that they lost their practice bikes, mini's too I suppose. They are out of Lake Helen, FL, so keep an ear out at Bithlo and Pax.

Hopefully, Gary will give me some more info tomorrow....or maybe some of you that talked to him today will add some info.

Jesus F'ing Christ! Nothing i hate more than a friggin' thief! Hopefully they get busted , shot , electrocuted , ran over by a truck , drowned , burn to death , beat to a pulp , are given a set of cement shoes , get their knee caps broken , finger nails ripped out , thrown in a big pot with live gators , forced to watch Oprah for a full one hour episode......well , you get the picture. Burn in hell you fuggin thieving bastards!

That what the cops are figuring.

They got their bikes back. Actually in decent shape. Looks like they were traded for some drugs in da hood. That's where they were recovered. They have the names and will drop the charges if the gentlemen that were caught with them will give up the thieves.

What sucks is they had to PAY the cops $300 for EACH bike to get them out of the vehicle holding facility.

They lost a ton of gear and parts and tools.

it sucks you get you stuff stolen by the robbers and then you have to pay the other robbers to get them back.

You will not find an MX family nicer than the Goerkes. I spent 2-3 months living in their front yard during SX this year. They brought my mechanic and I in like family. I cannot believe someone had the guts to do something to such a hard working family. I am in agreeance with you on it being someone they knew. I hope those thieves get punished the most possible.

If you didn't know.... Matt's Parents, Gary and Cindy, 5 and dime getting their kids to the races. Been doing it for years. For Gary to see his kid on a factory bike this weekend......just keep this in mind when you watch the race.

While Matt got his factory ride, Gary was making sure Kyle (Matt's younger brother) had the best chance at LL's last week. He had lots of mechanical's, bad luck, but still turned some heads.

Word is Kyle has more raw talent than Matt.

Of course Matt does not read this forum....so it's cool to post that last line. Har!

Sounds like an accessory charge or search/ raid on the guy they got the bikes back from would be in order.
