The bikes haven’t even arrived here in the US from my Yamaha contact. Our media bikes were air freighted and just got here just a tick over a week ago. Consumer units are still on the boat.
Michael, when you do the 450 shootout, can you include the 350SXF for comparison please?

Maybe an ‘open class’ shootout is fitting these days and can include the 300sx also?

This would be just plain smart.... But these days, logic doesn't seem to come into play. Let's hope! Wildcards are always welcome. Love to see the TM 450 dropped in too, just for added flavor. They need to make the efforts, viewers, readers, surely would appreciate it.

Some shootouts used to include the 350. It doesn't ride or handle like a 450 so its not really a fair comparison.
450 shootouts should only have 450s.

Every year all the major testers, test the 350 and talk about how it compares to a 250 and 450. There's enough info in those videos to help people make a purchase choice.

I heard the 2029 Kawi was green but my source would get in trouble if I stated who told me.

I think I’ll roll my Enginecycle out of the garage fire it up and wake my neighbors up. By the way I used to race Enginecross!

I agree with you generally. I'm kinda thinking with the 350 supposedly having a lot more bottom this year, and with it being a new model instead of just 19-22 tweaks, I can see it being worthwhile to at least have a back to back orange 350 vs 450, or maybe doing the open class thing mentioned now the 300sx is here and if the new 350 really does bark.

I hear you. Theres plenty of literature to read regarding the 350, but if my new purchase options are a YZ450F or a 350SXF, it would be really nice to see a comparison by the same riders, same day, same track. And to know where in the line up of 450s it would rank.

Holy shit, they put backwards motors in rather than backwards engines. How embarrassing.
Funny you mention that, Gungaderp corrected someone in another thread pointing out it is not a reversed engine only the head is reversed. Dudes a stickler for accuracy. lol
