I'm going to watch on FS1 and enjoy some extra racing and not worry about all the other stuff people are complaining about. Life is too short to wste my time on stuff I can't control.
Spot on mate! The amount of people on here having a meltdown is hilarious to watch.

Firstly I’m not a WSX cheerleader, I’m a moto cheerleader and love any racing, especially something that brings riders to international fans that otherwise would never have a chance to see. How is that a bad thing???

Secondly, so you actually agree with me that the timing isn’t a coincidence? As is the use of words like ‘era’’ and ‘world championship’ etc.

What’s your problem with me ?

I have no problem with you…as I’ve said in almost all my posts regarding WSX, I’m happy that fans from other parts of the world will get to see SX live, my opinion of the promoters of WSX is where I have been critical, you have taken that as an attack on racing outside the US, which it is not. WSX chose to take on and attempt to schedule a racing series that competes directly with an existing series, they chose to try and recruit riders and teams for their series at Feld events. They have marketed a 5-6 race “pilot” series (now two) before diving into a full on 2023 campaign starting in June of next year, but we have no idea where? And I would bet they don’t either. As I’ve also said they should have put all this effort into a fall/offseason series and they would have had a better chance of success. Now their streaming/tv package is a joke that they announced 4 days before their first event that will ignore the largest SX demographic in the world, the US.
You are the one that said Feld MXSports was pathetic and desperate but in reality they are the ones that have done it right…They had everything done and ready before their announcement, they had a schedule, a TV/Streaming package and venues all lined up…they made the WSX group look like a bunch of amateurs that announced their series Frye Festival style with all kinds of promises that they have failed to deliver on in every aspect…and the real loser will be the international SX fans. If there are any fingers to be pointed at the failure they have to be pointed at the promoters of WSX who chose not to have a fall off season series that would have been extremely successful with many more US SX stars able to race and give the international fan a much better show than they will have this weekend. It is not the fault of Feld or MXSports or even the US SX fan that WSX is headed for failure and will not not be able to deliver as promised…for that you have to point your finger directly at the promoters of WSX….I hope they figure it out and get it right as a fall series but based on their short history and arrogance I doubt it will happen.

How is it ignoring the US demographic, the tv schedule release says live on fox Sports 1 in the USA?

Still not sure how you think the tv package is a joke and is ignoring the USA. It's still on fox sports 1 and their streaming service the next day (if they have the live part wrong). IMO the tv schedule looks pretty good considering they had to try and sell it without ever having an event before. Fingers crossed it goes smoothly for them.

I have to agree here. College football rules American television on Saturdays in the fall.

The ironic thing here is that the only major sports network affiliated channel that might have worked was NBC. They have a love-in exclusivity with Notre Dame. Of course NBC itself wouldn’t have carried it because they are showing Notre Dame. But NBC’s Peacock network is open. Guess who grabbed that?

Straight Rythm never had an event before there first one and it was streamed for free...live...that was almost 10 years ago. WSX had plenty of time to figure out how to stream these vet races for free to gain some viewers. You would think making it live in the biggest dirt bike market would be a no brainer. Considering they had to bring out our retired guys and back of the pack boys. But hey, changing the sport right?

Ever stop to think that maybe it not being live in the US was a deliberate decision? Seems strange that it can be free and live in places all over the world but not there. I mean It’s obvious there’s games being played on both sides of the fence.

Or maybe you’re right and they did just fall short, and they need to gain some experience to be able pull together an awesome streaming package like MXSports did this year?

7plus so you can watch on TV or download the app. Just need to create a free account if you don’t have one.

Getting the tinfoil hat out are we.....making emotional decisions in business will bring failure every time...maybe they should have had venues, teams, riders committed, and a streaming partner signed before making their "New Era" Frye Fest style announcement....They have been scrambling ever since and have come up way short in every aspect of their promises along the way...and so far this series is barely a shadow of what they announced...All I've heard is how much experience these guys have from their previous endeavors...but yet they need more experience to pull together a proper streaming package...ok..got it.

Anyway enough of the Americans whining because they can’t watch a race live that they don’t want to watch because it’s a load of vets and it might take some riders from their nationals…
Saw this in a press release, what kind of insights would you expect from a team radio? I have no idea what info they’d be going over? Gate picks prior to the race? Lines? , anyone have a clue?

Saw this in a press release, what kind of insights would you expect from a team radio? I have no idea what info they’d be going over? Gate picks prior to the race? Lines? , anyone have a clue?

What are you seeing as far as interest level in the UK for the race? Do you thing you guys will be able to get a good turn out and fill the stadium? I hope its a huge success and a smooth program that goes off without many problems. Hope it works and the new things they try work and that it may be able to expand for next year. Same questions for you roos down under, how is the vibe and excitement level for your race?

I have FS1 and FS2. Neither show that they are broadcasting the wsx series tape delayed the following day. Must vary by region.
