Tony, is obviously a huge part of Mikes success.
It is possible that Mike feels more comfortable with him around and i think they make a great team.To make a long story short ...Team Alessi also has given Mitch a run for his money in the past,more then once.Not many teams can say they have done that.
As for Mike and the PC/crash.
Shit happens!
Mike could have gotten hurt walking up stairs (..as TP has in the past).
And another thing...anytime a rider gets a chance to get the sport some mainstream coverage with PC,whether it be local,National or even World,they should jump at the chance. It is great for the sport and for the rider and his sponsors etc.
all the riders hate the guy ...and funny thing is when he gets all used up he will just get tossed just like those before him ...

as for the person running things in camp alessi ...thier have not been any reports of any drunk in public scenes ,rolled or wrecked rental cars , arrests for fighting or other unlawful activities including drugs ,date rapes or other common young mxer troubles in the news in the past two years !

riders, mechanics ,track workers, and industry people will wise up, and stop talking to him , and when that happens like any old tool , he will be tossed .
riders train ,race and ride , mechanics work on bikes ,and track workers operate equipment ,and industry people are busy making /selling products ! these are the real people that try thier hardest to make a living every day inside of the industry ,thier not leaches thier workers .
Mike Alessi is a top rider ,with an excellent work ethic ,and a clean life style ,he will be racing long after matthes is gone , and the alessi racing name like the andretti's in nascar will be apart of motocross for many future generations to come .

So now were comparing Jody to Matthes?? No fucking way!!! I'm not a big fan of Jody's, but when he writes something, he gives names of people he talked to. He tries to actually throw some facts in his writings, I respect Jody for that. Jody is the editor of MXA, Matthes is writting a blog. You don't see a difference?
I never go see what Matthes is up to unless someone says something here about him.
Also, the Andretti's really aren't a big name in NASCAR, they race in the Indycar series. So good luck with that.
