I may be wrong, but didn't RC and DeCoster pull Dungey from the C class?

Top 5 in the C class are easily intermediate speed.

Johny Jelderda dominated the C class at gold cup in 07' then went and won ponca in intermediate. C class is for intermediates who want a title at ll.

The C class is always won by sandbaggers.

i dont agree with it but there is two levels to every class. Local level and national level. A local level C rider wouldnt last a sec. at LLs But a national level C rider should.. just my 2cents it doesnt look like it will ever change either!

You can only ride the class once, it's not like you can abuse it yearly like former-pros in the Vet classes destroying dear old Dad. There is already no true beginner class for the same reason, if you take away the C it only means more people can't go. The title or a good finish in a C class really doesn't get you much in the way of attention so why does it hurt so many feelings?

I love the bitching!!! 99% of the people just don't get it. LL's is about the M O N E Y!!!!. If the check clears you are good to go. The A riders in the C class should be bumped or DQ'd at the district level. Local A class speed in the C class is pretty obvious.

Truth be told LL's is just a big shake down. The kids that matter will be signed or found out without LL's. The only kid that matters this yr is Tomac and he does not even need this race to show the goods.

When all is said and done there are 33 titles up for grabs that do not mean shit.

So for those that blew 15 grand on a plastic trophy you are all dumb asses and MX Sports thanks you for your contribution. See you next yr!!!!!!!!

But it's "the ultimate moto vactation!" Wink Wink I could probably race the entire year with the money one person spends on this one race.

It's a cash cow. I figured that out this year when I plunked down $100 to park my rental car over the course of four days. Cool event, but no doubt there's some fleecing going on.

I don't think the C class should go. You only get one year in the C class anyway. It's a good first time experience for kids that haven't necessarily been to LL's before.

One of my friends, Cody Boehmer, made the 450C class, and it was his first time at the Ranch. He actually races the C class at Albany and Washougal too, so it's not like he just dropped down for the National. I think that's the story for a lot of kids.

Same with Anthony Romero in the 250C class from Eugene.

It is hard to find a true “C” level rider competing at LL. Don’t get me wrong, there are some out there. It might sound stupid, but they need a “D” level beginner class for riders that can prove they have never competed at the national before, and they are in their 1st/2nd year of their racing career, period. I know that is what the “C” class is supposed to be, but in reality it’s not. The “C” class should be for Junior/Novice level racers, and some kids that just made a jump from minis to the big bikes. “B” should be for intermediates, and “A” for expert/pro-am.

Also....Wouldn't more classes bring more money?

Used to be able go down and camp, spectate the whole week for $150 bucks.

Now it's $53-54 bucks per night.

Yeah, if came in a car by yourself that $25 per car kind of hurt. We always had 3-4 kids with us, so it wasn't too bad!!!!

What about the fast kids that make LLs their only national of the year? How would those kids be found out without it? And before you say attend other nationals. Every national race is about the money. Even Branson.

I think most riders and parents of, realize they'll never make the big show. This is their chance, while they are young or old, to ride with the best. That's what every rider I've ever known wants to do.
