Imagine writing a comment at the very beginning of 2022 saying these things...
1: Eli Tomac is going to win 450 SX, MX, and Des Nations this year.
2: Cooper Webb won't win a single race this year
3: Vince Friese's going to get second in a 250 main
4: Jason Anderson is going to win 7 rounds of 450SX but not win the championship this year.
5: Ken Roczen and Ryan Dungey are going to battle for an overall podium at least once this year.
6: Antonio Cairoli will get a holeshot this year.
7: Justin Cooper will finish ahead of Dylan Ferrandis while riding a 250 at MXDN this year.
8:Chase Sexton will be 5 seconds a lap faster than 3rd place at Pala 2 and not win.
9:Jett Lawrence will beat Sexton & Tomac on a 450 at least once this year.
10: Roczen will win a Supercross race, finish in 12th place in the SX season, and then win an MX overall
11: The MX championship lead will be 1 point at the last round this year.
What would've been the amount of money you would've bet against that!!
Or... that the two guys fighting for the championship two weeks ago, had dinner together on Saturday ๐Ÿ˜‚ I think that's also something that few people would have expected. What a great MX/SX season. Go USA. A lot of things nobody expected happened, and a lot of them were awesome.

It's been a special year in a lot of ways. Another thing that stands out to me is how few injuries we had during the outdoor season. As Matthes pointed out on his show, it was one of the only seasons is recent memory where the field got DEEPER as the year went on. Hope this is a trend going forward

When you put it all on a list like that itโ€™s pretty wild!

Hell of a year for moto and as usual we battled it out just as hard here as they did on the track ๐Ÿคฃ
