Glad to hear max is okay! Actually i was sitting right in front of the obstacle... they had the tough blocks going all the way up that stair up off thing and max clipped one (all of the tough blocks on that section were abit too far onto the track right there) he swapped a bit and lost traction going over.. wharton was right behind him and they met... MXdN? tommy, max, and shawn simpson or billy mac?

Spotted this on another site....

Updated news on Max - We’ve just spoken to Max and unfortunately he’s out with a busted ankle and will miss the last four rounds of the AMA championship, sad news for the kid as he was just beginning to crack into the top 10 of the Lites class.

“I’m going to miss the last four rounds of the championship but I will be back for the US Open later in the year, I will have the cast removed in two weeks and then its rehab for a while”, explained Max.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Brad Anderson picked as our MX3 rider this year. Unfortunately he doesn't race for a team capable of funding regular GP entries, but he's currently leading our domestic MX1 championship and rides with a real fighting spirit. He's a crowd favourite over here and has the kind of attitude to his racing that Im sure American fans would appreciate.
